Fair play to him, but hoping for a new keeper myself. I'll never forget the fear I felt with his performance at Wembley.

I'm worried we'll have too many mediocre players in our squad with some of these players have signed. It's a difficult one as DC couldn't exactly go back on his promise.

Yeah, they'll be ok in league one but I would like to see us try and push for the playoffs again.

I'm sure we had the same conversations 12 months ago. I think DC has earned a bit of trust from the fanbase

With the emergency loan market gone, we need a bigger squad, though. I expect that is the reason behind signing so many up. I'm sure we'll see another quality keeper, striker, midfielder and maybe defender come in.

Dunno why there's pockets of negativity towards players signing? What they've achieved so far has been fantastic, fully deserve their place, no questions.

All if the current squad were promised contracts and that is what is happening. Nothing more nothing less. DC will expand on this squad and i have faith in his choices. Consistancy has been key and we have a very good club ethos again. This will now beck own in the football world which will attract mire players. Couldnt say that 2 years ago.

The core of our side that has been here over the past 2 seasons are here to be built upon over the next few years to get us in the championship.
Lockyer,Brown,Sinclair,Leads and maybe Ellis have the raw talent to be championship players if given the time.

Dunno why there's pockets of negativity towards players signing? What they've achieved so far has been fantastic, fully deserve their place, no questions. I think most supporters feel that we need better quality in a few areas in the team to strengthen it - goalkeeper and Centre half being two. Don't think it's a criticism of the players re-sgning. Before his injury I actually had more faith in Puddy than Mildenhall but now in L1 we need to build the team up to compete well at this higher level. UTG !

Thought he might of been one of the ones to go but we're going to need a big squad this year . 3 keepers is a must .

Rome was not built in a day and I have every faith in DC and the way I see it is that at the moment we have lost 1 of last seasons squad who would have just been in the squad and we have signed two players both of whom will no doubt play most weeks. I think it will be the same for the next four players (which will become 5 when Taylor goes)who DC signs and with each signing he will IMPROVE last seasons team. If both Easter and Lawrence are with us I see them both pushing for placers with a full pre season behind them. Easter was pretty fit come the end of last season and Lawrence (if he wants to play which we assume he doesif he takes the contract on offer) will have every chance to get himself to peak fitness. I can see this sort of team
Mildenhall or NEW KEEPER
Leadbitter Lockyer Hartley Lee Brown
Bodin Lines (if he sins) or NEW MIDFIELDER NEW MIDFIELDER Moore (or Montano)
NEW STRIKER Gaffney (NEW STRIKER)
So I see 2 new strikers,2 new midfielders a new keeper and probably another defender coming in before the start and they will be challenged as well by McCrystal, James Clarke,Lee Mansell, Montano,Harrison. This could well be a squad capable of challenging for automatic promotion again with the DC magic behind them. I am quite surprised that we haven't heard of a couple of Jordanian Internationals coming over but maybe that will happen in the coming weeks. It is still very early doors.

I think Mildenhall deserves to start as number 1 after his performances last season, but would like to see a younger keeper push him and unfortunately that's probably not gonna be Will Puddy. However I think it's important to keep this group together, and fair play to Will for sticking with us. We've got the money to keep an average player like him as third choice keeper, on what's probably a 1 year contract, so why not!
