Taylor gone get over it The amount of sitters he missed last season should have scored at least 40 he won't be given that much time or chances at any of the massive clubs he's supposed to be going to How many strikers in English pro football have scored 'at least 40' goals in a season since the war? There must be loads! Can you name them?

Just been told that Matty has been severely shafted by his agent. And now has nothing on the table apart from us,if that's even still there. No insurance,no club and personal trainer. Possibly the same source told me his agent has been telling him he had a deal on the table from Reading all along when it never existed and this came to light this week

He was the top scorer in the whole country last season for f**ks sake. In my life time I can only think of 2 players that have scored 40+ goals in a season, Steve Bull at Wolves and Guy Whittingham at Portsmouth, it is very, very rare that strikers get over 30 these days, let alone 40!

Right Mr Taylor, sit down.
Its pre season, you don't have a club. You clearly don't want to go or you would already have signed. Your options, whatever they were are probably drying up quicker than a nun's private parts, in the middle if hell, in a heatwave.
If you sign for Oxford, you're a mercenary bsstard and your willy will shrink and fall off. If you sign for the shtt the same thing will happen, only slower and more painfully.
Your team mates will be playing in a friendly soon, while you'll be at home, pucking your nose, wondering what to do next.
I dont know if you realise, but you are in great danger of not having a club to play for.
Whoever is advising you to hold out, in a knob of the highest order, and only wants to line their own pockets.
You still have a place here. Where people want you to stay, where you'll he forgiven for missing the sitters because we believe in you (sit down t bone)
Sign the bloody contract, stop prat arseing around, get on with it and you play with your mates.
Is that a cross between two things? And he can do it cos of his large appendage? If he stays and misses sitters Yard Dog is likely to rip it off and nail it to the dug out!

I hope MT doesn't read the forums. The correct attitude is "we'd love you to stay and understand you had to evaluate all the options put to you before agreeing to stay." All the criticism is unwarranted and DC himself said he completely understands the decisions facing MT.

Thanks to the administration team for accepting the account.
Also like to congratulate you on promotion, had a nasty feeing you would take our place but thankfully Accrington did a Plymouth and bottled it! Anyway, Re Taylor, we are certainly in for him, he's a local lad and a fan. Has been for years.
Out chairman has come out in our local press today and confirmed it.
We also fly out to Spain in the next couple of days and Appleton has said he wants the new additions in by then so I guess today or tomorrow will bring news one way or the other.

No disrespect, but why would he go to Oxford ? After all, you are not a bigger club than us and so MT would be taking at the very best a step sideways and more likely a step down.

Off to Oxford Utd then. I remember when they had players like Houghton and Aldridge. Watched them beat QPR at Wembley 1986.
MT you'd be mental to trade us for OUFC!!!

And an exciting young prospect in Crowley from Arsenal. As mentioned, Taylor is an Oxford boy, a Oxford fan. His mates are all Oxford fans. He was drinking in the pub with the fans at Wembley in the JPT even joining in with the atmosphere.

Maybee theres a statto on here who can answer this and the question is...if taylor had put away some of the easier chances that came his way over the season would we have been safely in the autos rather than relying on stevenage to do us a favour on the last day?
