I remember going to scunny on the first game of the season in 2002/03? And winning 2-1 with graydon? in charge and there were 1500 gasheads there and we were in a far worst postion as a football club then now. I want to go this season but I work most freaking Saturdays!!😞

Most will travel by car/coach/minibus - and a fair few Northern Gas by train.

Can't be bothered to wait for me to get ticket from Rovers. Always have to wait for priority groups first. Went straight to Scunthorpe and got my ticket in main stand. No probs. UTG!

If we can nick a point up there I fancy us to beat Oxford and Bolton. We'll be top after 3 games. Feeling positive.

what a disgrace! I know we just voted leave Europe but why is it everywhere else on the continent I can travel the length and breadth of any country, reliably, and economically. Was Germany recently and the whole public transport set up was far superior. The train companies need stricter regs, Theresa May are you listening!

Wasn't going to bother with this because of the train costs but managed to secure a seat on a mini bus for about £20 I think it is, can't bloody wait for the season now. Is it all ticket for us or potd? UTG.

The only reason train fairs on the Continent are cheaper is the trains are nationalised, don't expect May to do that, she'll just sell off more stuff.

According to the lady in the office just over 400 sold so far - general sale Saturday so a good turn out of about a 1000 possibly. If only a 1000 - pay on the day should be no problem as allocation is about 1600. Any pub suggestions?

White Lion on the Centre, it's not a Rovers pub.

Went in last time in colours with no hassle. Other than that, there are pubs a little further away, but as with most new-ish grounds, there isn't much choice nearby.

I thought it was newer than that! Perhaps they just set the trend in building stadia in the arse end of nowhere.

Getting some tickets Saturday when they go on general sale - anyone know of any decent pubs near the station/town before making the trek out to the ground. COYB.
