I have it on very good authority that the only promise given by Macron was that the shirts would be delivered before the start of the season.
No-one bother to mention the funday, that date had not been arranged when the order was placed in May(?).
This appears to be a monumental balls-up by several people at the club. Perhaps they should have asked BRSC for some input but they appear to be "persona non grata" at the moment.

First rule of Supporters Club is that we don't talk about Supporters Club.

Always a fan of Barca's colours! £45 shirt and she's got £20 worth up her arse. She'd catch a chill if she dressed like that in the south stand. And she's not having my leg blanket either. Dirty girl. One of the best posts of all time, I am still laughing as I type. Thank you hugo.

Shirtgate Mk 159a, for fecks sake it isn't the end of the world. if you want to wear your quarters wear them,Barry is gone long live Barry. It is frustrating, but as far as I know nobody has died because the strip isn't ready yet. Grumpy old man to the front and centre. Just perhaps the have been trying to arrange Baggins, Hugo and Nobby to model them. Tis true. My photo shoot went ok. They were happy with my ripped torso for the adult slimline shirts. Hugo had some problems because he felt the shorts made his arse look big. The photographer was very polite and gently told Hugo that in fact his arse was big, whether he was wearing the shorts or not. He split so many pairs of shorts that none were left for general sale. A re-order was necessary for the shorts. Baggins had to go away. It was felt the Homeless, Tramp, Park Bench Sleeper look was not the image they wanted to portray. He then spilt his extra large bottle of Meths over the boxes holding the new shirts, meaning they had to be sent back. A re-order was necessary for the shirts. There were other fans modelling the kit as well. Newton Abbot Gas was there with his kettle. Unfortunately, while making everyone a brew, he boiled his kettle next to a stack of new shirts, and the steam promptly made them melt. Chewbaccy had a go. However, with his beard hanging down to his waist it was impossible to actually see the quarters. Philbemmygas had a go. However, as soon as they gave him a new shirt to model, he stuck it on a pole and marched around the car park as though he was on parade again. I refuse to say what Baldersgas did with his kit as this is a family forum. Teeeeeeeewat

Have you considered that the kit deal might be for the first time in the clubs history something more than selling replica kits to supporters and securing a side deal for a director? Let the SC sell raffle and coach tickets for the supporters and leave the running of the club to the professionals.

I had heard that the shirts were in but are not going to be revealed until the fun day. I thought it odd at the time, but could explain a lot. Boxes have been sighted arriving at the Mem!!

The reason Rovers shirts take so long to get out is the club do the shirt raffle too late, next season I don't think the shirt raffle will be held. Expect the club to be sponsored by AJIB or something similar as a way of siphoning money into the club and undercutting FFP. Why do we need to under cut FFP when there's likely to be at least a £1m gap between turnover and playing budget this season, unless DC goes mad signing players in the next week. I think fans want to forget this notion we initially had after the takeover that the Al-Qadi's were going to plough £m's into the playing budget as there's no evidence of that happening so far during two transfer windows.

I wonder if the Errea contract runs until the 31 July and Macron can't supply home shirts until that contract run's out, as releasing the new shirts on a Monday, which is the 1st August, just seems a bit odd? Fellas we got a "thinker" here. Mods can you please escort the Academic to the "other forum" where the Uber beings debate. Topper this is not the place for you. Gaschat for :- Could a tiger have a polar bear in a fight. Can a man drop his own turd into a paper cup from a standing position.

Do the SC have a comment to make on it? Do they have a comment on errea bring replaced? If they did it would be nice to hear. As i csnt see anything i can only asse they are ok with it on behalf of the fans Im assuming the kit deal was done late in the season and we are at the back of the queue for Macron currently

I'm sure this has been asked already, but actually what was wrong with the Errea kits? I never had a problem with them, and for the most part I was happy with the designs of shirt they came up with. Some people seem to think Errea were the devil's incarnate, was it because of association with Barry Bradshaw? That doesn't add up to me, there's plenty of other clubs, reputable as well, who use Errea. Anyways I'm not saying I don't like Macron, I just really never saw what the big deal was!

I'd imagine a Macron sales person realised that we were there to be tempted. Gave the club a call and sold us a solution.

There always seem a bit low rent to me, although until we've seen what Macron produce and charge I guess we'll have to reserve Judgement.

Gaschat for :- Could a tiger have a polar bear in a fight. Can a man drop his own turd into a paper cup from a standing position. Sheer quality. Depends on where the fight takes place. In the snow, it's 50-50, but in the jungle it has to be the Tiger as the poor Polar Bear will be sweating like a ted at the tax office. Depends on the texture of the turd, which depends on what was eaten first. One of baggins curries, and you'd struggle to get it into the paper cup, but a nice leg of lamb should ensure a firm, but still pliable turd, that will drop straight and true, and nestle into the paper cup, like a snake in a warm snug spot.

Why not just paint them on ? While those two look good in their painted-on kit, can you imagine the horror that would be unleashed upon the general public if our fans also painted-on the replica kit? It'll be a crime against humanity.
