If you don't like it or think it's too expensive then don't buy it. If less money is made then things will change, bitching on here won't make any difference. I won't be buying it. I very rarely buy stuff from the shop anyway. Just giving my opinion of which I am entitled to.

I'm staggered at how trivial the stuff people are now getting angry over is compared to what the old board used to get away with year on year

I'm staggered at how trivial the stuff people are now getting angry over is compared to what the old board used to get away with year on year We are moaning about availability of the new kit. Is that what you mean by trivial? Aston Villa gave up with Macron because the quality was poor. However, apparently an old chum of Waels has a connection and has done a 5 year deal with them. Here's hoping. By the way, the new kit doesn't even need names and numbers on it to be worn in Sabadell. It is in fact here, or least ways enough for the team, but we can't wear it until after the open day. That is very poor in my opinion.

I have a genuine question here , I have heard the question asked on here previously but I don't think it's been answered (could be wrong) but could it be that the club aren't able to release the official kit until our current deal with errea expires which could be August 1st ?

There was no contract with Errea for at least two years. It had run out, but we just went on ordering it anyway. With regard to expiry dates re sponsors, it is whatever we put in the contract. I'd suggest something complicated like, it expires on the last day of the regular season. That way, if we go to Wembley or back to Spain etc, it can be made up as soon as the following seasons sponsors are known. And that is whenever we agree to do the draw. I.e. Do the sales process from Jan 1st to end of Feb or March, then order up the new kit. It's not rocket science. If there is no special requirement for it, namely Wembley or a foreign tour, release it on a date of our choosing. Perhaps the fun day should be at the end of the season, not the start of the next one, then people can get it to take on their holidays. Rant over

If no one comments (or moans??) then how are the club supposed to get feedback about the design or price of their merchandise?
That training gear looks horrible and is very, very expensive.
I don't see the problem in saying that's the case.
Would the club sell more if it were a nicer design? Does the cost put people off regardless of the look if it?
If we are not allowed to comment no one will ever know either way.

Of course people are free to like and dislike whatever they chose. I just can't stand the knee jerk reaction to everything related to our club, people on here seem to just slag eveything off without even knowing what's going on. In regards the shirts they seem like every other training top that other clubs use , also in regards to price same as everywhere else.

Seems the club are now trying to charge Premiership/Championship prices for Div 1 football kit, have they done any market research to see what Gasheads will pay or is it just a case of hoping fans will pay these prices?

I don't understand how you differentiate between opinion and knee jerk reaction ? I was the poster who thought they were Dam ugly. Should I just not have mentioned that? Slag everything off without knowing whats going on? What's to know? It was an opinion based on the photo? What else was going on that I missed? In terms of design and quality I'm sure they are much of a muchness to every other training top. I just don't like the colour scheme. Most of the errea stuff didn't bother me either way. For the record, I don't care enough to fall out with anyone over it. It's ultimately up to people to buy it or not.

Is it just SH and.co. Isnt that just football now. When i was a kid Home kits lasted a couple of seasons. Now every club changes it once a year. Clubs have thord strips for no reason other than a cash grab. Trouble is as long as people buy it every club can do ot and get away with it. I much prefer to buy retro stuff now

I don't fall out with anyone either Hugo, when I said slagging everything off without knowing anything that was a generalisation e.g DC with the interest from Leeds, Taylor taking his time to sign his contract , DC not making any marquee signings , to name but a few. All these subjects bought animosity amongst posters on this thread when no one knew the facts. It's also quite easy to differentiate knee jerk reaction from opinion on here , you only have to look at the idiotic posts from yesterdays game with Swansea. Just out of curiosity what were you expecting our training gear to look like ? When you say you don't care enough to fall out about it you clearly do as your reply to my post seems a bit knit picky in regards to my comments about knee jerk reaction.

Just giving you the respect of a thorough reply to your post because I like the cut of your gib. I actually quite liked last season's training top as it goes. I agree with you about some of the ott posts about marquee signings, DC etc.
