And JC? I know we were playing a Premiership side yesterday but we clearly need another CB if any of these injuries are long term.

This is my main worry. With all the attack options we've got available I think we'll keep scoring in league 1 but with Mac and a young inexperienced youth player alongside I can see us getting torn to shreds at the back. Locks needs to get fit soon as I hope and Hartley may or not be any good for us we don't know but I'd rather have him than a youth player with no experience. I've got a feeling our next signing will be another centre half and I'll be a bit happier with our defensive options if it is. Successful sides are built on a strong defence and our club has had that these last two years I'd hate it if we became a shambles at the back and lost games 2-3 with Taylor scoring and then we lose him and get worse.

Yeah something in if they are out is what I mean. Whether it's long term short term or permanent that's down to DC but I'll be seriously worried about our first few games if Mc Crystal is the only recognised centre half fit when we start in two weeks time. To be honest I'd be worried in the conference in that scenario let alone league 1.

Locks is beside Greenslade in one pic and next to OC when he's taking a swig. May or may not have been full tilt but he's definitely doing some of the training routines.

But if he's fit he needs game time.

DC and his staff will know better than anyone and they're in the best position to make the right decision. We can sit at home and worry about whether Lockyer should play Sunday but nobody knows the situation better than Clarke so I trust him to get it right. As long as he's playing and ready to play against Scunthorpe that's all I'm worried about. I'm going Sunday but I couldn't care less about what team he plays because it's making sure we've got as many first team players match fit and ready for our first game that matters.

Problem is if we didn't all have our own views what would we discuss on the forum??

We all know DC plays his cards close to his chest on EVERYTHING to do with player recruitment AND team selection. Even if they were close to fitness DC would not say too much

There's only so many strikers we can play? The odd one for me is why didn't Leadbitter play in Sabadell, is he also now injured?

There's only so many strikers we can play? Technically 14. 15 if we get to the sixth round of the FA Cup.
