Problem for the club is why invest £10K's on a new ticketing season at the mem to only then scrap it when we move to the UWE. As far as the fans on hols I assume Data Protection rules mean that only the s/t owners can contact the club to reserve tickets? It doesn't cost £10Ks to create an excel document and formulate some unique serial numbers. Data protection? In this instance, st holders cannot contact the club to reserve tickets so that is not an issue. Thought s/t holders could ring up and reserve seats?

As far as I am aware and going from my own experience, ST holders can not ring up and reserve seats without paying for the transaction at the time of the phone call. You then either need to post off your voucher or personally call into the MEM. On receipt of the voucher the club will post or handover the ticket.

I was expecting more ticket stories and experiences. Not Chelsea related but this is during the Liverpool FA Cup match at Twerton. My dad and I would rarely miss a home match but never bought a season ticket, there simply was no need to as reaching capacity was never really an issue for league games. However, could we get a ticket for the game? Fat chance. I even knew of a couple of City fans who turned up. After that we got a ST for the next few seasons. For that reason I think that priority should have been for Cardiff ticket stub holders.

I'm not a ST holder this year, but it's impossible not to agree with this. If anything it helps entice people to buy a ST. I appreciate there are those that end up attending almost every home game anyway, but in that case, get a ST in future just in case these sort of ties come up. With the installment plan etc there's no reason you shouldn't be able to if you want to.

I couldn't get a Cardiff ticket because of the balls up, admittedly I could have guaranteed getting one by getting one earlier but I was waiting to find out I could go 100%. It would mean someone that paid a tenner to go that night because we were playing a team a league higher at home would have got priority over me who has paid £260 for a season ticket, an 8 hour round trip to Scunthorpe (£22 a ticket) and watched the Cardiff game on tv. Not exactly fair! The best way round this would be to offer our fans a card system where everyone gets a number and gets points for each game they attend.. That would be the fairest way. That being said people would still probably moan about how many points it would be for one match compared to another.

I've been at the Mem since 6:30 and there are 8 ahead of me. Only here early as I have a day off as it's a football day and I had a rotten nights sleep. Hope it's all worth it.

UWE with 10,000+ ST holders
I just don't understand why some are so desperate to got o Chelsea. AS an ST holder I would have got a ticket today if I could have got the time off work.(Not a regular away fan anymore, priorities and responsibilities and all that sh*t)
Unfortunately I can't go but I'm not that disappointed as their will be other opportunities at other grounds, but some people seem to have gone mental offering to buy vouchers and everything

I've been to Chelsea before in'75 but I have a 12 year old who is desperate to go to see the bigger teams and to go to their grounds. We don't get many chances like this.
