Referee was utter sh**e ! Thought the lads heads went down a bit after the 2nd goal and rightly so as prior to that I thought we were on top. Unlucky with the first as it took a deflection on the way in , never a free kick leading up to the 2nd goal and we were also denied a clear penalty. Second half was much better and i thought we really deserved to get an equaliser but it never came. Harrison rightly mom in my opinion. I think with the added additions to the squad we will end up quite comfortably in mid table judging by what I've seen so far and I don't think that's anything to be sniffed at, unlucky tonight lads, UTG !!!!!!!

i thought we were a bit unlucky not to get a point tonight so im not getting to down after our 9 month unbeaten home run ended. some of there players have played at the highest level so its bound to be a learning curve for many of our boys. bringing on bodin and easter really put us on the front foot tonight and i thought ellis was lively. on the other hand when montano came on he didnt provide the outlet that lee brown always gives us so in retrospect i think dc got that wrong though lee was probably tired.

Bolton got 2 early goals, the first looked like a bit of a deflection, I sit in the Dribuild. The second was a brilliant free kick, no arguments. Bolton as a team were a bunch of Arseholes. They niggle, pulled shirt and threw themselves to the ground with loud screams every time they were in a a 50/50 challenge and the idiot referee fell for it every time. Also he didn't allow quick free kicks, making everyone wait until he had got into the position he wanted. This proved a valuable lesson for us and if DC can lean to deal with these situations then we should become less naive. 3-5-2 we played into their hands. When we went 4-4-2 we gave them something to think about and on another day may have got a point. Never mind. Lesson learned I hope, and we move on. i think bolton owned the ref tonight,i think later in the game he realised they were playing him but too late by then.

I though we were completely out played first half but gave them a proper game in the second.
For the second game running Easter impressed and has finally begun to show what he is capable of.

DC just said on the radio that he will have 3 or 4 players in before the window closes and 1 player will go out on loan tomorrow. Jake gosling will be going on loan tomoz , don't know where though.

He did impress. However he should have at least worked the keeper with the chance that he fired in to the side netting

Pretty much my thoughts. I think we have to grow into this league as we did in league 2 last year. Going a goal down so early was always going to make it difficult against the top team. The second goal was the killer. We huffed and puffed a bit in the second half and Ellis got the goal he deserved. Sadly though we came up short against a good side tonight, but we will get better. Bolton came with a gameplan (much like Bradford under Parkinson) and we played right into their hands for the opening 30-40 mins. Got the ball down and we started to make inroads, but it was a bit late. Bolton were decent, but I'm not sure they'll do well against solid teams who keep the ball. We got the ball down from the 1st minute and had plenty of it until the breakaway goal !

I rarely moan about referees, but that sheister was the pits. What game was he in charge of? It certainly wasnt the one that I was watching. Thought he had a good game - which decisions did he get wrong ? He rightly booked their players when they deserved it. He had his hands full though as it was a physical battle at times.

I thought it was a clear foul for the free kick that led to their second-shirt pulling, which was v silly to give away. Overall, when we attacked on the ground and with pace we did well. Harrison only one looking likely to compete with areal balls and thought he did well overall tonight. if we can strengthen team then there is no reason why we cannot compete in this division. I didn't think Bolton were all that great actually.

Thought we did okay but also believe the lads have reached a level now. And we do need the 4 additions otherwise we could find ourselves in a bit of trouble.
With current squad we have the fight in the team that we have seen for last 2 years, it might keep us up, but I think we'd be silly to gamble by not making sure the additions are of a certain quality.
Not worried at this point, but wouldn't want to get to the end of windows and there wasn't the quality there.

Big gamble we know how long it took us to get out of l2 last time and we went the wrong way,DC won't take us down though we're mid table team at the moment and we've played 2 teams that imo will be in top 10

I thought they were the better team first half, pressed us into going long and other than the odd Ellis header they won everything in the air. Second half they sat back more and with Easter and Bodin we gave it a good go,but rarely looked like troubling their keeper. They reminded me of Northampton at home last season, with a bit more quality though. I thought it was a definite foul by Clarke for their goal, grabbed his shirt and pulled him over, threw himself down most other times though.

Not the worst ref by a long shot though Bolton knew how to play him.

Quite frustrating tonight, just couldn't find a way through. Bolton very organised with an average team height of 6' 5". Felt Rovers went back to the old 'work it up to the last third, stop, run out of ideas and pass back or sideways' tonight. But think that was cos of the amount of players Bolton got behind the ball. Have to say, the biggest factor tonight was Boltons pressing, harrying and closing down tonight. They looked a very fit side (apart from Madine). Every time we got the ball, they were on us like an absolute shot which made our decision making difficult. And that highlighted our lack of quality for me. In comparison we completely stood of them and gave spearing as much time as he wanted to swan about. Clearly DC's gameplan, and with games every 3 days it would be difficult to play at a high tempo but that's what stood out for me tonight and why we lost the game. If other teams harass us like that we're gonna struggle.
