I don't care that it's the sh**, but how the f**k can they demand 15 million for a striker that's played 1 season in English football, and even worse, who the f**k would pay that.

All spans from the top sadly.
Blame your Chelsea's and Manchester's foreign owners for bringing silly amounts of money into the game. Only a matter of time before it had a knock on effect through the leagues.
This is only the beginning.

Are they demanding it? Hull/Derby offered 14m apparently. The premier league gives you 100m for finishing bottom from this season. Therefore what is x player worth to someone chasing promotion or one trying to stay in the prem. The only trouble now is this will filter down when league one clubs etc know City, Derby have 15m to spend and the price goes up down the pyramid And people want us to spend money....

It's not just the owners that bring the money, Sky and BT are also to blame!

It's not just the owners that bring the money, Sky and BT are also to blame! If Sky and BT are also to blame then, regrettably that blame must also percolate down to the individuals that pay their Sky and BT Sport subscriptions to watch football on TV.

The valuation isn't the mad bit IMO - he's their player and they don't need or want to sell him, so they can ask for what they like.
The fact a team is willing to pay it is bonkers though!

The sad thing is the big clubs have priced a lot of clubs out of competing in the Prem/championship unless they are backed by a billionaire. Gone are the days when good management and a decent team could take you up the leagues.
And the worst thing is most of these players that top clubs buy for millions are overrated as hell. Worlds gone mad, should clubs really be paying £93 million for a single player? That's probably double the revenue we've seen in our entire history!
Sometimes I'm thankful that I was introduced into Rovers and real football from a young age. The kids/grown men that you see wearing the Arsenal/United/Chelsea shirts around Bristol will never know that feeling of joy when a last minute goal gets you promoted, or even that true sadness of suffering a relegation out of the league!
At the same time I hope we as a club and one day play a top flight football match at a brand new Stadium that we can all be proud of. But along with this I hope we keep our soul, culture and core support we've had for years.

I worked out how long it would take Rooney to earn what I have in 50years......it was three weeks, puts it into perspective.

They're in the position where they don't have to be a selling club.
The rumors early window was that clubs were offering 6/7M, C*ty have held firm and said they don't need to sell and clubs are starting to panic as they need a proven goalscorer with time running out.
That said, if C*ty were serious about contending and giving it a real go this season, they should have kept him. Yes they have that Tammy kid in, but their back up now is Wilbraham*.
*May be wrong, I don't really follow them.

On the mad theme. Sky aren't showing the USA open (tennis), they can't afford it after their new premiership contract. How much does that work out at per match? I shall tell you......
£11,000,000 (11 million) per match!!!!! Before anyone calcs it, thats £122,000 per Min. Crazy

And when they go looking for a replacement other teams will know and put up their asking price. It becomes a vicious circle of ever increasing inflation. I wonder if that is why there appears (to me anyway) to be an increasing amount of undisclosed fees.

"We wouldn't sell him to anybody in the Championship because we're looking to compete in the Championship this year, and he's an integral part of that," Lansdown added.
"If it's not £10 million-plus, we're not even looking at it. If it's £10 million-plus from a Championship club, we're still not looking at it.

Fair play to C*ty, they've absolutely pulled Villas pants down.
This transfer window has shown exactly how big the step up from L1 is with all that parachute money being thrown about like confetti
