I think things are about to get really messy at this club. The pre-season positivity has evaporated and the toxic atmosphere returned today. One thing is for sure, we are watching the death of our football club.
I honestly don't know the solution. Nothing will change with the same people running the show.

Just heard that there was an altercation between fans and players after the game at the players entrance, with one Rovers' fan getting on the coach to have words. He was promptly removed by club officials.

Invade the pitch? Give money to other investors? Go and watch Yate Town instead? Form a new BRFC 2014 club? I don't know the answers to all this, and no-one else seems clear either.

IMO it means go as far as the turnstiles on Saturday and stay around there, the other option is to support 'our club' continuing to be run in the way it is.

The less people go, the less money there will be to spend on players to get us out of this mess. One thing is for sure, enough is enough. We are watching our club die before us.

They BoD need to put 100,000 aside for a CEO. With board members away, not willing to watch the debacle let alone DO anything, we need a dedicated CEO to run the club. We will never get better until we have people onboard who will give the club TOTAL attention. To have a chairman be away while we lurch from pillar to post is beyond belief. It really is. If they cannot be bothered then at least get someone in, allow investors in, who will give a damn. Reminds me of Nero fiddled while Rome burned.

Would you trust the Board to appoint a decent CEO? Or would it just provide another body for them to use to as a vessel to carry the blame for failure?

The family club, where the Chairman is not allowed a family holiday ? He had to go at some point, we all demanded he stayed and started this review, well he stayed and now he is on holiday,so what ? When was the last time NH kicked a football ? The useless manager and players need a kick up the bum, they talk the talk but fall over when they try to walk !

Would you trust the Board to appoint a decent CEO? Or would it just provide another body for them to use to as a vessel to carry the blame for failure? The thing that stops the board appointing decent managers and/or a CEO is that it would expose their shortcomings. That is their worst fear. Until this is changed, we will only continue in the sane vein and will have further relegations to come. It's plainly obvious the players are not up to the job and we have a manager who is being set for a fall yet again. He was promised a much better budget but had that cut and cut a couple of times. This meant yet another season unprepared, not having the players he had targeted and then the subsequent dire performances. Only when we have a board who will be open, have integrity and who will not fear questioning , will we stand any chance of fighting back. FWIW I think DC would be ok if he had the budget he was promised and the back up staff he needs to concentrate on his role. As it is he is being asked to do too much and on a fraction of what he thought he would have at his disposal. I feel sorry for him but he was quick enough to put the boot into Ward so must expect the same with him. I was very surprised how willingly he placed blame, I felt it was unprofessional but the poison that runs at board level has leached its way into him. We need a manager and CEO who can tell the truth and not fear the sack. We continue to employ people by their timid ways and ability to not place blame where it rightly belongs. Nothing will change until they can accept constructive criticism and work upon that.

Keep up man, Toni (I don't know conference income as we were only in the relegation zone for 70 minutes) the Till is effectively the chief executive and will stay that way as he is BFF with Dunford. As was stated at the Q&As

As was stated at the Q&As And therein lays the death rattle of this once proud and well loved club. People gave me stick for saying I have had enough. I appreciate loyalty but not when NOTHING changes in the places that need real change. It was whispered by opposing teams that we were run like a pub team and that was while we were an FL team. We are lurching from pillar to post, the board banning our own fans for reacting after Mansfield and many supported that too. DC, in his latest post match interview, says fear is a factor in the team for crying out aloud. What place has any player got if he is scared to play ? The excuses are getting more bizarre by the game. I would live it if one of the many managers we have had, actually said the board cut my budget leading the me having to redress my targets and so we have not been able to get the quality and quantity with which I thought I had available when I made my comments. This is why we would never employ a Martin Allen type manager. Until that is redressed we are done.
