Not slating him, he is well liked but when you can't pronounce the owner's name correctly...its just a bit embarrassing tbh... Actually, I'm confused over the pronunciation. Is it "Whale" or "While" or something in between? I thought during the take-over press conference he made a point of saying it was "while". Think of Gaël Clichy with a W instead of the G.

This is such a good shout haha! HaHa, it is a good shout, want to listen to adagio in d minor now. Adagio just means a peice of music played in slow time. Your statement is like saying 'want to listen to Pop Song now'. Honestly, frequenters of football forums are surprisingly weak on thier knowledge of classical music terms...

I've got nothing against our midfielders they've all played a part in two successive promotions so will always be remembered for that whatever else they do or don't do In a Rovers shirt but all our midfielders are workman like defensive minded players other than lines and he's a deep laying midfielder who likes to play out from the back. Against Bolton we had so much of the ball around the edge of the area but had no killer pass no matter what Subs we made or formation we changed too and I think that's largely down to not having an attacking midfielder in the squad. Bolton is just an example there have been other games, I think Colket sounds like just what we need. Can't wait til Saturday now. UTG Agreed, something we've been needing for 2 years, but it only now that we're high enough up the league to attract someone with that capability.

Yeah, it's a proper name for a proper tune from one of those proper composers. It's fg's classical music knowledge that needs brushing up.

good interview he looked a bit nervous and dont forget hes going into the unknown, this aint youth football anymore, this is real football and what happens from now until the end of the season will shape his career. Interesting that you felt he looked nervous, I thought he came across very self-assured and calm. I was actually wondering about how much media training the top youths at the big clubs get; quite a bit I would imagine. i might be wrong but thought he looked nervous especially early in the interview, but its just how i viewed the interview.

It does a bit. Possesion football is great, but you need someone with that something special to break a set defence - Messi, Iniesta etc. England just don't have that.

I'm going with this one. As I suspected it was a mixture of "While" and "Whale". Seems to be how most interviewers attempt to pronounce it too! EDIT: If you can't read what I quoted, its Why-ell
