When will we see our Chelsea star show what he can do in more than 10 minutes ? Are we playing too well for him to get a start ?

It's a squad game - no doubt Darrell will deploy him when he feels he will offer most.

Knowing DC (or not), wouldn't be surprised if he started Tuesday.

Soon as he goes on the team sheet to start ( hopefully Tuesday) I'm going to stick a wedge on him to score just before kick off I've got a good feeling about him.

Giving it a great deal of senior thought, you may well be spot on there!

If he starts how long before he misplaces a pass and is "f**king sh**" Probably in the warm up although hopefully not I've got him down to score in it.

Nice to see a young footballer who doesn't come across as thick as two short planks.
This is a world where 16/17 year olds are playing European games and earning International caps, you don't have to ease them in anymore. if they are better than the first XI, play em.

Well still have people saying how sh** he is, that's what our fan base has dropped to since we moved back to Bristol

I don't understand why some people seem to have an obsession with young Charlie, is it because he has Chelsea on his CV? If you read my historic posts I am all for giving young players a chance (particularly our own young players), and Charlie seems like a bright and articulate young man, during his cameo appearances to date he looks very tidy, he has an excellent range of passing and has even chipped in with a nice goal but this is a lad has never played a professional game before coming to Rovers. He seems delighted to be getting the experience and I am sure he will continue to get more minutes but IMO Darrell is right to bleed him, and others in cautiously. We must be careful not to burden young players with too much expectation to soon, we must also accept that consistency is a challenge for young players so let's be careful.

He needs to earn his place. DC is right to stick with the men who have won him 2 promotions back to back.

Depends on the personality of the player
Depends on the opportunities in the team
Depends.
