apparently we've been given over 3,000. I'm gonna make the trip I see their average attendance this season is 3500. Could we actually take more gasheads than there will be home support? it's a long journey but I will be going.

As we will have been deprived of our football fix for 2 weeks I think a fair number will go. Probably around 1000, which is a fair shout for a game that far north.
Please don't be speculating about 3000, the Sh1theads who haunt this forum will be having a wankfest over on One Turd.

Got that totally wrong!
We are in fact playing Gillingham Saturday week and at home!
I think there should be a decent crowd as we will have been, ahem, deprived of football for 2 weeks!

Few of us going from Staffordshire and Shropshire.Ran the line there once on a plastic pitch.Alan Curbishley was captain of visiting Brighton.Didn't like the plastic pitch which was awful he told me.However Oldham rented it out 24x7 and did make a few bob.Other plastic pitches were;QPR,Luton and P.N.E.

Just seen on the "Football ground guide" now that the new stand has been built and opened, the away fans are now housed in the old "home" end

Any suggestions for pre-game pubs - will be a difficult game - Oldham had a very good win Saturday.

Apparently, the closest pub is the "Clayton Green" about 200yds from the ground. A Brewers Fayre. Also the Greyhound and also The old grey mare on Rochdale road

A good result Saturday against Gillingham should encourage a large following for Oldham especially as pay on the day is available. Tickets purchased prior are cheaper though.

Got my tickets today. This will be my first visit to BP.
I know it's called something else these days, but I do prefer the traditional names.
