Either this is Mr Jelf making this statement as one of his responsibilitys as the one in charge of football matters or Mr Higgs has realised that anything he says is ridiculed as soon as it is published, so has pushed CJ forward to take the flak for him. Its' anybodys' guess as to which one it is.

Won't be there Sat,but having watched Telford Sunday they were almost as bad as us Sat,so maybe-just maybe-we can hope for a win which we haven't had for far too long. I can promise long suffering fans I will bump the ground breaking thread if we win on Saturday. Could it be the long fight back? Here's hoping.

Jelf was by far the most impressive member of the board at the supporters meeting. Spoke a lot of sense, seemed to know what he was talking about, spoke confidently and also with some passion.

I'm feeling a change in chairman.. i Wonder if Mr Jelf's friendship with a certain owner of BCFC would have a bearing on peoples thoughts ?? I know that he has some mates who are high up in the Football heirarchy but I wasnt aware that he was friendly with SL. Are you saying that just because they are in the same industry or because you know that to be a fact ?

He was the only one who came across with the humility required. I know its a thankless task at times, but with what the club has experienced then any attitude portayed has to be spot on. CJ would stress the things the fans wanted to here, NH came across bitter and p*ssed off. Spot on, he was friendly, empathetic and spoke well, Higgs basically said " I said all this at the agm, I'm just repeating myself". He basically said without us we are screwed. Quite clear Jelf doesn't want the job though. Would you? You'd need to be some sort of lunatic to want to be Chairman, it's a lose-lose position. Lack of achievement = Next please!

IMO all home games should be 'quid a kid' like in the twerton days! that's the only way of attracting and holding onto new supporters

CJ is a very personable guy who would look credible as chairman. But he brings no money to the table, and very rarely attends games, which of itself is rather embarrassing.
Henbury. CJ is not so much a friend of KING Sh*t, but they know each other well through business.
No. We need new investors and a new board. That said, I don't mind CJ and EW remaining. Just get rid of the rest. And I want to be in charge of the firing squad when Toni Tombola is up against the wall.

But hes been on the board for ages... Cant see him offering much more than he has already as chairman surely? Either you go new or you don't bother in my opinion. Just my opinion though. And I am a prick mind.

All he has done is write a good statement, as people say does he have money? Does he have the skills? Does he even attend games ?
