This article totally encapsulates what Rovers are about and have achieved in last two seasons, we just need to go about our business and keep doing what we do very well. No need to fear any side, just play what's in front of us. I would be happy with mid table mediocrity this season, anything else is a bonus!

Worth clicking on and reading. If we get to the championship this season it will be absolutely ground-breaking. Many years ago Watford did it with Elton John and Graham Taylor.
It's great that so many believe that we might just do it again. How times have changed. The attitude and atmosphere around the club is creating a platform for us to dream a little higher than the championship.
I would put nothing past this team on and off the pitch.

Great read, also need to add the Wael factor, plus the tremendous support we give our team and the fact DC has added some quality players to last years squad particularly Charlie and Hartley and you then have a good reason to think Rovers could in fact possibly make the play-offs this season. UTG

You can't also overlook the MT factor as like Leicester w/o Vardy's goals where would we be w/o MT's goals, still stuck in the Conference/National league like Tranmere? We seem to have the prefect storm with DT/MT/Wael/the fans plus Lines return to the club/form.

Being a natural pessimist, pretty jaded and cynical I don't think I'll ever believe but even I am no longer fearing the worse.
It's the hope that kills you.

When we were 3-1 down on Tuesday I wasn't angry or upset. All I thought was how happy I am being a gashead right now and that we will probably put it right on Saturday.

Promotion this year really would be "groundbreaking". No English league club has ever (as far as I can find on the internet) achieved 3 successive promotions. According to Wikipedia, Chester, Truro and FC United have done it in the lower reaches of non-league and Gretna did it in Scotland but no club has achieved it with any of the 3 promotions being in the English league. I think several clubs had 3 promotions in 4 seasons, such as Northampton's rise to Div 1 in the 60's.
This is why I don't think it will happen. But then, at this stage in the last two seasons Rovers have looked poor for long periods of matches (such as on Tuesday night) yet ended the season where it mattered.

Gotta be philosophical. Can't understand the ****s around me who start the doom & gloom ranting the first mistake we make. Surely we've learned by now it's not over til it's over? Our boys are on a learning curve but they learn bloody fast. DC's "tinkering" is finding the best team & tactics for the run-in. Watch us go!

It's the fact I'm not depressed for days on end if we lose now. It used to ruin the whole week but now I accept it and move on as this team and manager having giving me more than I could have ever hoped for 2 1/2 years ago.
