So saturday is already feeling like a must win game, how do we go about getting the three points ?
For me DC needs to pick a formation and style of play and stick to it. 5-3-2 provided the most stability for the defence but we will not score many with the players we have for that formation and therefore not deliver wins. I think it was a great idea to get the kids in free again will put another 1000 on the gate for what it would have been and should guarantee a 6000+ gate.
I think we need as much experience as possible in a game that will be tense. We must get them playing with the ball on the ground and if the groundsman delivers a pitch as bad as the first game i would fire him on the spot and get the fans to bring along their lawnmowers.
Gk Mildenhall Lb Brown Cb Parkes Cb McCrystal Rb Leadbitter Rw Monkhouse Cm Mansell Cm Clarke (is our only cm after mansell with Sinclair out) Lw Martin Cf Brunt Cf Taylor
We are in desperate need of more in the centre of the park and can only hope with more minutes on the pitch Brunt comes good.

Look at that line up ,we have an incredibly weak spine. We are lacking a dominant pacy Center back, a creative midfield player and a big, powerful center forward .DC has signed some very mediocre players ,i think with the squad we have we will be lucky to stay in this division.

Agreed about the players we're missing. I guess Turley was supposed to be that dominant pacy CB and the powerful centre forward will hopefully be arriving on loan soon. As for the midfield, I honestly think it's extremely, extremely weak. Worryingly so. Mansell-Clarke is so powderpuff, and adding Sinclair in there doesn't improve it a great deal either IMO.

Forgot to add to my post, I'll be AMAZED if we get a 6,000+ gate on Saturday - even with the kids offer.
I genuinely think after the start we've had it'll be below 5,000...

No-ones mentioned Lockyer yet, is he injured?
Whatever formation we go with I want us to stick to it for 5 games at least. On balance I'd go for 3-5-2/3-4-3 but wouldn't mind switching it to 4-3-3 for the last 20 minutes if we need to.
. Mildenhall . Lockyer McChrystal Parkes . Leadbitter Mansell Clarke Brown . Taylor . White Brunt
For the last 20 minutes at Barnet, Taylor dropped deeper behind White and Taylor and saw more of the ball. From what I saw then he'd be more creative than any other option. He was comfortable in possession but moved it quickly into attacking areas.

Thanks, I'd have to put Trotman in the team then, although given that's all of our centre-backs, I doubt DC will play 3-5-2.

We were told that Monkhouse and Gosling can play anywhere across the middle

I really worry when we have players who can "play anywhere* because it just encourages Clarke to keep changing and that is a recipe to disaster. What I have seen of Gosling he is too weak to play in midfield as is Clarke (who can't pass a ball either!) Gosling IMO is a winger or nothing. Personally I would play Monkhouse and Mansell in the centre of midfield and Gosling and Martin out wide. If we get the right type of balls in we could play Taylor and White together but Clarke has to stick with something.

No enough changes in any of these teams, we need at least 6!
