Tisdale can't have long left in his job, so DC just has to pick off Wenger next... How Tisdale has been in his job for so long I'll never know. Decent budget every season but they've been no where near promotion for a long time. Just because he dresses like a bell end people seem to like him. A decent budget and the man dresses like a bell! Never in a million years is the answer to the decent budget and when I last saw Tisdale he wasn't wearing skinny jeans and girls daps. My thinking is Exeter won't get anyone better than the man that suits them for the peanuts they pay. A bit like Dario gradi when he was at Crewe. He has shown he can get a club promoted if relegated, practically on nothing.

I'd say he's kept his job because he's got Exeter into L1 at least once and most other seasons they've been in the upper half of L2 whilst ALWAYS PLAYING EXCELLENT FOOTBALL. And no they don't have much money - run by a supporters trust where the fanbase can't be more than 4,000. How long did they last in L1? What's the point in playing excellent football if it gets you nowhere? Everyone said Martinez had Wigan playing good football and although they won the FA cup it got them relegated.

Maybe I'm mistaken then but they always seem to have a pretty good side on paper and everyone tips them to go up yet they have been stuck in L2 since 2012.

Quite a few teams are tipped for promotion but don't get there. Portsmouth, a prime example and they have money and pay high wages, have been in league two for a few years. Total opposite ends of the spectrum as well. Perhaps this season Exeter don't have the players, they are playing a lot of youngsters.

I've always had a soft spot for Exeter, other than when they play Rovers. Hope they stay up. As for Robinson, he did well for a couple of seasons, but it's all gone wrong this season. Too soon to have sacked him in my opinion - as Darrell said at the recent Q&A, he is only 3 losses in a row from the sack. (Actually Darrell said 2, but Wael said 3 would be more reasonable!)

Inevitable considering they've not won at home since March. Imagine he was given our game and yesterday's to turn it around but 1 point and 6 goals conceded is poor. Amazingly he was the 3rd longest serving manager in the top 4 leagues after wenger and tisdale. Darrell now up to 18th longest serving! 18th out of 92 despite only being in charge for 2 years 209 days. How times have changed. There have already been 8 new managers appointed this month. It's pathetic really. And DC moves up another place, after Paul Hurst leaves Grim for Shrew. Surprised by that, I know the Mariners gave him a load of grief, but it looked like they were finally behind him and Grimsby were on the up. And a much bigger club than Shrewsbury.
