So it has been announced today that Stuart Campbells Tampa Bay Rowdies will be joining the USL next season which will put them up against Sacramento Republic coached by a certain Paul Buckle.
Could be a bit interesting on the sidelines for those games.

Can't see why either would be bothered, they both f**ked us over in the end. I expect they will have a good laugh about it.

SC's highly successful spell with us was tainted by the poor treatment he received from Higgs and Buckle. I suspect there won't be much love lost when the two meet in America.

Nothing to do with Trollope, why did you say that ?

Stewart Campbell was, imo, one of the best midfielders to wear the Rovers shirt. Tainted only by the sad and bad period he downed tools for Trollope along with the infamous others, thus helping with Trollopes sacking. More went on behind the scenes but the hard facts are there for all to see.

I didn't rate sideways Campbell as a player. Always played the easy pass and his set pieces were awful.

My favourite Buckle moment was Boxing Day v Crewe - he was booed on to the pitch, booed off at half time, same for the second half and booed off at full time!!! If Carlsberg made days at work, it wasn't this one ****!

This makes me laugh at the moment. We have two threads started today. One, Bill Dodgin, fantastic manager and PB / SC! What a contrast. I wonder what Bill D (and Bert Tann come to that) would have made of the shenanigans going on with those two in Autumn 2011. I suspect the comments grave and turning might come to mind. With Bill D it was all about football and attacking football at that. I'm still not sure what it was with Buckle that made him tick. UTG!

This fixture will also mean Carlton Cole V Joe Cole. Hope they have decent physios!! Florida to Cali is quite a trip though, and we moan about having to go to Hartlepool

The shannagans with the infamous 5? began a bit before the arrival of Penny. Shameful player power of the highest order.
