Given Posh despite spending £3m were only mid table before Saturday it doesn't seem to be having the desired effect? Plus who would want to wear one of those apart from cycling etc, which must hit sales of the replica kit? That's kind of where I was going with this. if there was a proven chance of improving our performance on the field, would it be worth taking a hit with shirt sales (assuming not many people would buy it)?

Omg that's a truly amazing picture and really proves the point - I had to blow it up and still search to see our players especially McChystal in the background

its interesting. didnt we have a manager who painted the away dressing room grey? i havent read the link, im not sure if an intimdating shirt would motivate the opposition, or if having a dour shirt may deflate them. im shirt there is a costume psychology expert out there somewhere. What an idea. We could pipe music into the away dressing room with subliminal messages. "Wooooooo you're gonna lose. Wooooo you're really depressed. Woooooo you just want this game over and done with. Wooooooo you always wanted to be a cricketer really. Woooooo your missus is cheating on you with all your teammates and the fans hate you". And loop it over and over again. UTG!

I think that was atkins... Yes it was Atkins. He painted the away dressing room walls battleship grey and the floor black. He got the idea from a motivation and psychology course he once attended and the aim was apparently to de- motivate the opposition. What a bunch of total crap. Had a tour of the Emerites stadium once, and enjoyed the 'feaures' that Wenger had installed in the away dressing room. they included; cramped space, it's half the size of the home dressing room; harsh strip lighting; benches that are rock hard, and just a bit too small to seat the required amount of people in comfort; no drawers or cupboards to stash your stuff; and the main white board being slightly round a corner, so that half the team have to stand up to see it.
