IMO has come of age both on and off the pitch. In this interview I thought he looked and talked like a manager.

Definitely! The last couple of games now he's really improved! Actually cutting inside which I've wanted to see for a while now, but when he does defenders can't touch him!
Just needs to add shooting to his skill set and we'll be winning the Champions League in no time!
Also, has he beefed up a bit?

Two assists last night not bad for a full back!

Shows the value in DC playing him earlier in the season when he was looking a bit unsure. We'll very likely see an improvement in Lockyer's game soon, too.

I've long felt we are a better team with Danny on the pitch
Yes he wobbled a big here n there but agree he's a top lad and becoming a must start man

like 2 drainpipes. My old man used to say one thing - never trust a man with no proper calf muscles. Oh and he also used to say don't eat yellow snow. So it was 2 things. Oh, and also don't trust a man who looks like he doesn't need to shave [he obviously foresaw the rise of David Cameron then...]. Ok, there were 3 things. Plus fear. And surprise.

Their number 10 looked knackered towards the end and leads ghosted past him on the way to the second goal.
Then I realised their number 10 was their sub! I honestly think we are fitter than most, and/or pace ourselves better. Most teams start hard and fade. we start slow and go up gears.

A real confidence player....and he's growing in confidence.

For me, with his speed and skill and determination at times I get frustrated. This is just my opinion but he seems to doubt himself a little. With a bit more confidence I think he could playing a lot higher. He just needs to believe it.

Gotta say after watching Smith in the posh game I think Leads is clearly the better player now.. I wouldn't have him back

Danny has been a very good player for a quite a long time now. His only problem is consistency which I think is a confidence thing.

At a 1 v 1 standstill he's lethal.
Same tricks - but the speed of Danny is sometimes unstoppable. He'll knock past you a run.
Great stuff.

Until 2 games ago many on here were saying he's been one of our biggest dissapointments this season and that Harrison is our most improved player this season. Just goes to show that players will dip and rise in form over the season and we've got to back them all because they've all got a part to play. Danny was great on Tuesday and Harrison was awful but it doesn't mean we need to get rid of Harrison and it doesn't mean Leadbitter is the best right back in league 1 either.

Leads is a fantastic player and I'm always happy to see his name on the team sheet. I would like to see him work on his close control though.
He seems to let the ball get away from him, but his pace means he can give his marker a yard head start and still maintain possession. Against better players I think this part of his game will need to be better.
