I can't believe Blisset has got 10 out of 33 votes. He scored a few for us in the conference but looked like an average conference player at best where as Harrison has scored goals for us in the conference , league 2 and league 1 and is obviously the more prolific. Harrison is not a great player but unless we make it to the championship we should have him on the bench because he's always scored goals for us at every level we've played.

Mmm. Am about to put my hard hat on but I prefer John Ward to many of our managers. Yes it all went wrong but up until March 2014 we would have stayed up. His legacy now is pretty poor but suspect reasons for relegation went deeper and players have to take most responsibility. Ward whatever was a Rovers fan, a gentleman and the personal problems he faced then we probably only know a bit about. Buckle on the other hand, a total idiot, no man management skills and doesn't even deserve to be uttered in the same breath as Bristol Rovers. I know majority will disagree with this. UTG!

I am in agreement. Many factors in our relegation, not least that Ward himself was going through a very difficult time and the club were clearly massively complacent on every level. I prefer to remember his first spell and the team that were cheated in the play off final that included Stewart, Browning, Archer, Taylor et al. He is far further up in my esteem than the likes of Buckle and McGhee.

Nathan Blissett had a pretty good game against us at the Mem for the Harriers, for what ever reason he never really ever repeated that form after signing. As has been pointed out; for all his faults EH has scored goals at all levels for us.
UTG
