I guess there could be a chance to get him on the cheap if he's not happy now MA's, surprisingly in my view, jumped ship, can Eastleigh really pay big money for Akinde along with big wages, for the National League, he'll no doubt demand?

Why surprising? He'll be on more money plus Barnet are hardly a big club with potential. And not exactly the first time he has jumped ship from them!

Surprise he's gone back to the National League, it's a bit like DC leaving us this time last season and taking the FGR manager's job just because they could pay him higher wages (they probably could at the time), I can't imagine Eastleigh will ever be anything more than a lower Div 2 side even if they ever get promoted, whereas Barnet are in with a chance of making the Play Offs.

You've made the mistake of comparing Martin Allen with DC and Bristol Rovers with Barnet!!!

Not comparing just suggesting it's almost as mad as that ever happening. Still can't understand why a manager would leave an established league club for a non league club.

No different to players like Constable, Tubbs, Clarke and Marsh-Brown who put cash over ambition. I am not begrudging them the extra pay mind but you have to question their footballing ambition, that goes for managers and players alike. Maybe they accept they wont make it any higher and would rather drop a division to FGR or Eastleigh and make as much money from the game as possible?
I hear Martin Allen said Eastleigh could be bigger than Southampton and Portsmouth, he must be smoking the same stuff Leroy Rosenior is, Eastleigh cant even provide decent bogs.
