Are the covers already on the pitch?
If this weather continues, we will struggle to play.

I guess it's how keen the club are for the game to go ahead. Take Macclesfield for instance, their game against Barrow was called off on Tuesday, frozen pitch. Playing Oxford tomorrow in televised match. Three games in six days, damage to the pitch. Plus playing Barrow when they are well in form, much better to call it off.

No chance the game will be off unless the forecast is wrong.

Just come from the ground after getting my Charlton tickets. There were people there beside a van that had something to do with grounds so they could well have been getting ready to put covers on.

They are on a 22 match unbeaten run, I doubt they are suddenly lose form if we wait a week or two!! Regardless can DC really be frightened of playing a National League side on form or not? Plus we lose the TV money if the game is postponed.

Game was changed to Sunday as part of BBC's Match of the Day special where games are selected and when something happens, they go live to the game. If a goals scored, they will show the goal AFTER its been scored.

I assumed we got some payment for allowing the BBC cameras into the ground, if not, why let them in the ground?

I assumed we got some payment for allowing the BBC cameras into the ground, if not, why let them in the ground? Think you find that its just one camera with a feed to the BBC studio in Manchester. Bit like the Channel 5 camera used for Saturdays goal rush programme.

I heard there's a Indian summer this weekend. Rubbish, an Indian summer can only occur up until mid November. Signed Joe at The Met Office.
