The high goal conceding of late even with Lumley in goal probably shows previous keepers were not so bad as everyone made out. Confidence soon fades when left exposed time after time and mistakes then follow. Still a long way to go and dispite a good first season still ending disappointing in 10th place finishing 3 points behind oxford when being ahead of them all season nearly. DC will have no doubts where the main improvements are needed. congratulations to Millwall upon reaching the playoffs. But lumely hasn't been making mistakes tbf! ...but how many more games conceding several goals losing trust in those in front before he starts to anticipate their mistakes ? ...which is often when the keeper starts getting it wrong.
Without turning into a real moan its just to highlight the defence is too weak to be successful at league one .A defensive midfield player is also needed it would seem.

Excellent 2nd half from Gas - outplayed dumpy Millwall BUT did't quite keep it up going once it was 3 - 3. Why did JCS ( loan signing) start ahead of Burn and Partington ? and he had an awful game but so did Lockyer.
2 great goals from Lines and Bodin to add to the goal of the season list - which must be a pretty long this season.
I hope Bradford go up - Millwall some how squeaked over the line and really need to thank their front 2 who were very good today.

Also wanted to praise Sinclair today - he was immense and didn't deserve to be on the losing side.

Every time Millwall crossed the ball today I was sh!ting myself. Today just proves how good Sweeney is, you don't know what you have until its gone...

Was it just me or was their 2nd goal miles off side?

Deserved the draw.
Bad defending but millwall benefitted greatly from the wind. Good goals by us- need to hide those BBB highlight reels. What a special player.

So that's it for another season. Good overall. The clearout has started, DC has set his stall out and its clear where his ambition lies. Interesting closed season coming up, then we go again. UTG.

I listened to the game on BBC Radio London - but decided to take a walk at half-time. Just knew we would sit back and let you lot come on to us second half, and could not stand to listen to that!
Glad I did, even if it meant missing the euphoria of our late winner.
I'm just glad we made it. When I heard an illness bug had swept through the squad and saw the team I thought we were done for today! 5 changes is not great preparation for a big match.
I would disagree with those writing us off v the other sides in the play-off mix, based on our recent form. But, I am biased. However, we have proven to be a great cup tie side this season, knocking out 3 PL clubs and think this set of players love these do or die games - as shown again today. And wouldn't it be just like football that the team that finally scrapes in, goes up.
As an aside, I sincerely wish Rovers all the best - be that if we are in same division or not next season. As said in attendance thread - I really admire Bristol Rovers as a club and fan base.

Millwall will get tonked in the playoffs if they play like that. Very fortunate to win. A side that knows how to defend like Bradford will sh*t on them.

The luck was with you today 2nd goal offside and 3 goals from corners our defending was shocking! But your there so well done, thanks for some of your insights it's been very interesting all the best UTG

Highlights are up: www.skysports.com/football/bristol-r-vs-millwall/video/359204Shocking officiating for the second goal, he was blatantly offside! Poor defending cost us again, something we're too familiar with this season but I am confident DC will address this in the summer. Personally I think JCS was out of his depth today. We would have been no better off with a win today, still would've finished 10th so not a terrible result really, just a shame we couldn't get revenge on Millwall after the thumping we got at their place. Fantastic goals from us today though, on to next season! UTG! The only reason I can think of DC to play JCS so much recently is that Chelsea have promised to let us have Hazard on loan next season if we do!

Ah well if we continue defend set pieces like that then i'm glad we bowed out vs Peterborough than suffer heartbreak in the play offs.
At least DC knows what it takes now to challenge at the top.

We defended poorly today especially in 1st half Clarke Salter & Lockyer struggled against their front 2. My reading of the Sweeney situation is that DC not confident of getting him back so took the opportunity to look at an alternative. Much better 2nd half & were well worth a draw. All in all a good 1st season back, a busy summer ahead hoping for some additional quality recruits & positive UWE news that's not too much to ask for is it !!

Millwall will get tonked in the playoffs if they play like that. Very fortunate to win. A side that knows how to defend like Bradford will sh*t on them. Hopefully King, Cooper, Thompson and Wallace will be over their bugs by Thursday. That will make a big difference. That is why it is hard to judge a side on one game. After all, do you also attend the 4-0 game at The Den? But I take your point, if we play like today then yes Bradford City will have fun. However, I very much doubt Bradford City will be quite as gung-ho in a Play-Off Final as Rovers were today in an end of season game with no pressure. Clearly Rovers are decent, so were always going to be dangerous, especially with our nerves on edge and 5 changes to team. Overall I think we deserved to finish in the Play-Offs, we went 15 games (a third of the season) unbeaten at one point. I honestly think if we had not made the QFs of the FA Cup and avoided a fixture pile up we would have secured a Play-Off spot a few games back. Also, Bradford City et al will need to know how to defend, as I think despite all our inconsistency, the one thing we do have is a very dangerous and experienced strike force.

Hi, fair play making the top six, but no upsetting the locals up north like you did with the spuds and 3 for a fiver

3 conceaded from corners is beyond words.
To be a bit disappointed with 10th place shows how far we've come from rock bottom, well done to the lads.
