Half of the article doesn't make sense, unless you watch Rovers you wouldn't understand a word. Paraphrasing is key when quoting what someone has said verbally, but you have to do it accurately.

In English:
- Roos may be off given he got replaced by Puddy - we have money to spend - DC, because HE IS NOT A , says we still have a tight budget (as opposed to saying yes we have shitloads to spend which will up all your fees)
Typical non story, this is basically DC saying we have money but I am not spending loads so please don't extort us.
Keeping Taylor was a huge signing in the summer which shows the WAQ and co might back DC some more. Expect MT is on good money even for L1

I don't like this article. There is a clumsy paragraph where DC talks about facts which doesn't make much sense yet the journalist does nothing to try to explain it, whilst hthe journalist also says that DC says something strange about football and getting the sack. Does he? Can't see any quote about that. The journalist also makes a big play of DC's gun to head gesture, which really depends how it was done to get the nuance. I'd like to see a video of the interview as I think it comes across as pretty shoddy journalism, to be honest. The one clunky paragraph aside, where I'm not totally sure what DC is saying, it's hard to argue with all the other quotes. Yeah other than the way it's written which I think reads like a 12 year olds done it I haven't got a problem with what DC has said , I think, although it's so badly written it's hard to say. Edit : I've just read it again and it still doesn't make much sense and now I've got a headache too.

WAQ has a share in a national bank, so surely he is able raise a bit of dough ? bottom eight budget, if that is the case we should forget about building a new training ground and stadium; I was under impression WAQ was talking about a team in the championship, we are not going to doing that with a bottom 8 first division budget. Not sure whether DC is talking the truth or not ? and why any body would buy the Evil Post now a days, is beyond me.

WAQ himself only has a small holding in the bank but he can hardly just loan himself a few million to buy a football stadium, even Fred Goodwin didn't try that one! Although finance isn't a problem according to WAQ anyway.

I think it was DC's choice to operate with a bottom 8 budget. He promised all his players new contracts and he was true to his word. That meant we already had a full squad of players, so there was only so much business he could do on top of that in the first place. Why, at that point, go out and spend fees and big contracts on players when you have told the players already in place that they will get a chance to show what they can do at L1 level?
They have all had six months now and DC knows who is good enough to fight at the top and who isn't, so is much better placed to work out what is needed. Plus, Rovers are in a better position now too. We are 9th in the league and just a couple of points of the play-offs which, regardless of what is going on off the pitch, will make us a better prospect than we were back in the summer.
I think we'll sign a few players in January as has been said, but the true test of how much Wael will back DC will come next summer. The squad can be overhauled with so many players out of contract and unlikely to be offered fresh terms, so we will see how good our budget truly is at that point when we replace the deadwood.
