All the best to him came across well in interviews.
For all his size- he was very poor at receiving a long ball above knee height. We never missed him but I hope he does well for Plymouth.

Why on earth would Plymouth want Blissett I find this bizarre to be honest he never made the step up with us and has only done ok in the conference.

If he's learnt to put himself about a bit more he could be useful, as the Dons CF seemed to have less ability but caused Hartley enough problems. although just 4 goals this term so far is hardly a good sign. Did Brunt ever recovery from his last serious injury?

I said when he left us that Blissst would come good.
He is more than capable of becoming a l2 striker and I think he was unfairly maligned as he is very tall and ungainly. This makes players appear clumsy and slow. Peter crouch suffered from this, despite the best goals per game ratio of any England striker.
Bliss will come good, I say so again!

Very pleased for him. He contributed well in our conference run in and I will always remember his classy dummy to let Taylor's ball run for Lines in the play off semi final. One of my favourite Gas goals. Clarke didn't give him a chance in league 2. I think he only played about 20 minutes. He wasn't right for the style Clarke wanted us to play, which was obviously fair enough, but I wouldn't be so quick to come out and say he isn't good enough to do a job for somebody in league 2.

Ageee- but he did look woefully raw in moments. For a big fella his jumping was horrid. Always seemed to go to early. Conversely, it should also be remembered that Blissett had only been a pro for a couple years before joining us. And had been ''spotted" playing university football. He hasn't had the same amount of coaching as an akinde had. He's not for us but wouldn't be suprised if it works or doesn't at Plymouth.

If Topper was in charge, he'd be leading the line now Bliss may do ok if he has a team built around him like Akinde but can't see him playing above league 2 at the very most.

I'm just pleased for the bloke that he has a second chance at league level and I know he'll bust a gut to try and make it work for him.

I know a few Torquay ST holders (yeah they do have some!) and they say Bliss hasn't had the best of seasons and are surprised a team challenging to get into L1 would need him. Not sour grapes or anything they just dont think he is good enough.

Blissett was signed as one who had a lot of room to develop, didn't really happen here but no reason it can't elsewhere. We paid a fee for him remember, so DC and Adams clearly see something in the lad.
