im a bit concerned that the board will be half hearted in the january window because they think were totally safe from relegation and we just keep letting loads of goals in and get sucked into a relegation battle. im not saying that will happen but i hope they show some intent with a centre-back and keeper signing that improves the team.

I doubt they'll let us sign anyone tbh, too busy undermining the manager to make money available for signings.

We need all the money we can get to pay for all those new backroom boys so they can tell DC that he has the fittest donkeys in the league

Come on 1973 at least give DC and Hamer/Wael some credit, do you seriously think you know more than them about the risks of us getting sucked into a relegation fight? They'll all know the only way to keep attendances & interest up is to try and improve the squad, not let us slip down the league table.

If Bogle is in the same mould as Matty Taylor, who will no doubt be off to pastures new very soon, then isn't he exactly what we want? As well as another to replace Gaffney? I'd stick with Harrison myself. Why is there no doubt he is off to pastures new? I expected him to go in the summer more than I do now. As things stand we shouldn't be thinking about signing a new striker. Oops.

Wigan have made a £750,000 offer for Grimsby striker Omar Bogle, according to Sky sources.
We understand the fee could rise to £1m with add-ons for the current leading scorer in Sky Bet League Two.

Bogle confirmed to Wigan.
thank god - we can put that pointless idea to bed now.
No point even thinking of picking up Bogle now - the time to get him was when Grimsby took a punt on him
