That's mainly because Lansdowns team is near top of their division and he has backed them massively, Put cash in for players and is rebuilding Ashton Gate into a 21st Century stadium, he also hasn't overseen his club drop to NON LEAGUE STANDARD. You can't fault SL too much whether we like it or not. That's not what I was trying to get across. I just thought the way in which Twentyman asked his questions was uncalled for. Yes i kinda understand your point, But in fairness Rovers are at an all time low and answers from our BoD have been very lack lustre, GT was trying to get over fans massive concerns, in which case i think he did a good job asking that way, i didn't know he had it in him tbh.

They were good questions, but I think that GT's tone was maybe more suited to an interrogation rather than an interview. He'd obviously done his research as to what are the main issues for the fans. It would be good to have him chair an open Q & A session with some of the Board members.

From what i heard 20man did get pushy, but that was because the answers he was getting wernt very good, clear or whatever. So he forced the questions home. Not sure how NH would cope of Paxman was put on him

Cant really expect the man to be a media guru, hes not a politician. Thought he did fine really. I found GT approach a little OTT but what do I know.
Its better that he did it than he didn't do it. I know if it were me Id probably be a little hesitant given the flack you get.
its a bit like beating Telford. You beat them and everyone says its only Telford but if you lose you say we should be beating tge likes of Telford. You can only face what's in front of you.

Obviously done some research and was really pushing for answers out of Higgs. People slate Radio Bristol but I think GT is one of the plus points as far as they are concerned.

I thought Twentyman was outright rude. His tone was vile and looked for nothing more than an argument. Ask your questions yes, but put our owner though that, live? Disgraceful.

He is the chairman of a football club that was in Div1 when he took over. There are rumours of board splits, there is stark evidence of crass operational incompetence. NH as chair is accountable for all of this. The fans of BRFC are also customers of the BBC and the BBC finally asked some probing questions on behalf of that constituency. The fact that a wealthy man who freely accepted the role of chairman of a well supported lower league club is clearly out of his depth is no fault of the fans or the BBC interviewer. Frankly, as leader of the club, I thought he was pathetic.

Through what? A grilling? Isn't that what Twentyman's job is, to try and get answers out of the person they are interviewing. When the chairman of our football club is saying he doesn't understand the question with things to do with the football club and struggles to name the players we signed and where from in the summer then what do you expect? Not Twentyman's fault that Higgs' made himself look a numpty (AGAIN).

I thought GT was brilliant. I think he cares more as a fan and ex gashead. Higgs would have got a much smoother ride with a neutral. Like has been pointed out GT asked the questions we wanted to hear. No good coming on here now saying GT was O.T.T or you feel sorry for Higgs. You either want answers or you don't!1

Nah, manners cost nothing and Twentyman showed he hasn't got any whatsoever.

I am surprised that with BSS' expertise he hasn't given NH some media training. In his position it is essential!

You either want answers or you don't!1 that's a fair point but Personally I'm absolutely bored of it to be honest. We push and push for answers but noone is ever ever happy with any of them and in my opinion never will be. Nothing seems good enough. That's fine if youre that way inclined but I'm not really. He puts his money in again and again and that's all I really care about to be honest. People want to ask questions, they want answers dammit, but to what end? Only to serve as fuel to the fire of discontent that is already burning in their hearts and minds as far as I can see. The point is lost on me because there is nothing as far as I am aware that would serve to pacify. There will always be something else to be angry about. Personally that's my take. I hope GT and NH gave you the answers you were looking for but I somehow very much doubt it. I don't think they ever will. Whether you care is a personal decision and after a summer on the fence watching both sides and listening to various opinions, it seems I'm on the other side to many of you now. that's just my personal take to add to the collection and as I said fair enough if you're otherwise inclined.

The most worrying answer was whether cost of UWE was covered. Initially he said yes and then corrected himself and effectively said 'as near as'. How can he know the cost of the UWE until its built and all the bills paid up ??

So you might agree the statement "the new build is fully funded, or as near as dammit" could not be true by your analysis, right?
