I am sure this thread was no more than a bit of a giggle at our red friends expense. However since the thread was started we have slipped two places. So while it was fun while it lasted it's time to realise we have some way to go yet.

Not a chance for one SL will spend what it takes to keep the 82ers in the Championship and two we are a long long way from the next step up as today proved---we will be top half and we should be proud of that UTG 👍

According to otib its going to be fine.
Reason being, they only lose by the odd goal. I kid you not. "it's not Like were getting beat by more than 1 each game"

I am sorry if I have offended anyone but we all work with friends and family who support the dark side and for a long time we all have had to endure the banter of mind games and mind the gap or just a non-league team. Rovers to me have been like a running river down hill but eventually we return to the sea, the sea is blue and eventually what comes down goes up. It is great to be a GASHEAD.

Not a good weekend for Bristol Sport 1982 Ltd what with the men's soccer & rugby departments both getting done in local derbies not making Bristol very # proud are they!!

No. I don't think they will go down and we don't appear to have it in us to get enough points. Both teams to finish mid table this term.

As much as some of our fans like to belive they still little bit ahead of us. if we were top of the league I might say different but we aren't. Ground and an improve squad is a must. Need to make proper signings, from the football league with some experience might make a difference

Not a chance, but have a look on OTIB and you get a sense that they'll be happy to survive in the Championship this season!
More chance of a L1 Derby especially if LJ has lost the dressing room!
Happy days!!!

Think the funnier thread is the one about getting rid of Steve Lansdown - now that's hilarious after he's bankrolled their ground and mammoth loses. Get rid of Lickle Lee and wouldn't he be paying 3 managers on the book as Clitterall still enjoying living off his wage to sit at home

Lets just concentrate on getting our own house in order. 5 away defeats on the trot is not exactly setting the world alight and we have no proof whatsoever yet that we have the money to replace them and I always say that whereas you can find the odd gem in non league even the better clubs won't have too many successes from that level in the Championship., We are doing pretty good being where we are but in truth have very few players who would be good enough to play in the Championship. Lets be proud of what we are doing but not get carried away- that has far too often ended in our demise.

Worse thing that could of happened to them is landsdown taking over. How would we feel if the same thing happened to us I know I wouldn't like it.

I'm going to be pedantic as I take a little issue with the title. We won't replace them as we are not their substitutes we are BRISTOL ROVERS they will move aside for us
