higgs didn't do that in 2007 then? Wael didn't get us promoted DC and the boys did, what has wael done YET that the previous board did? Yes Higgs gave Trollop money and he wasted it. Wael has given this club a lift and wiped its debts supported DC through everything he's wanted and payed to keep him and our best players here. Our set up was Sunday league under Higgs its why we got relegated to the conference. he has given this club a lift hence why the gates are bigger,I've been watching for years whatever division were in and however we are playing..say the loyal 6k,all the others have come cause they expect something with him here

No Lambert wasn't even the problem with that side, we finished 11th the season after. There's an 18 month period where Disley, Elliott, Lescott, Hinton etc. are all released/sold and are replaced by mercenaries. That's the biggest challenge DC will have, making sure the likes of Macca or Mansell aren't replaced by players who have the 'quality' but not the mentality.

That's true we did for one season and we did pretty much the same as we have this season top half and looking ok. Trollope started changing things around we started leaking goals didn't or couldn't replace Lambert and went down. We need to keep our best players and improve but one things for sure in my eyes DC is a much better manager then Paul Trollop. so losing Taylor would be like losing lambert then,I bet when Taylor was talked into staying he wasn't told we're looking to finish mid table this season To keep your best players you have to improve the squad else it's going to be same old us and lose them I'm not having a dig at anyone but there is a opportunity here this month to improve the team and go for it again,if I was wael I know what I would do and spend a bit By the end of January we will have a squad in place to push for the playoff's.

Wael has spent a lot of money keeping this squad together and improving it and he will continue to do that I think. We'll see. higgs didn't do that in 2007 then? Wael didn't get us promoted DC and the boys did, what has wael done YET that the previous board did? Saved our football club from almost bleedin certain administration. Supported the manager and team where required (and not just cash), made some simple improvements to The Mem (the first for years), employed specialists to enable the club to move forward both on the field and off it. AND most importantly done it with diligence and not been drawn into a knee jerk high soddin spending spree trying to sort everything out over night. We may not be where we want to be but we're closer to it than last bloody year.

No we struggled in our first season back but went on a good run after Christmas and ended up 16th the next two seasons we did pretty well finishing 11th both years having lost Lambert at the beginning of 2009/10 season.
