Our home form will keep us up, so its about time we all relax, down tools, forget about the keeper/defence situation and think about our hols.

Or is DC keeping his powder dry as I hear Mildenhall is only 2 weeks away from returning to full training so will be available very soon after that We need a new permanent keeper, Mildenhall as back up as and when he's ready. Youth as reserve keeper. Can't risk more Mildenhall injuries and we need to build our future squad up based on someone who will be able to step up and play in the Championship if called on, which Mildy is running out of time for.

This is not criticising anyone but how many times over the years have we seen a player being injured at the end of the season,as was Mildenhall, and instead of having treatment or an operation immediately the season ends we wait till august or September to do something about it,hoping the problem will have gone away, which it usually doesn't,so we leave ourselves short of a player for 3/4 months of the season instead of a few weeks. If we had done this with Mildenhall we wouldn't have needed Roos

What exactly was the response of other fans when Puddy was spat at? Pretty depressing that he was getting verbal abuse as well.

But time is what a fit Mildenhall will give us and not force the club into a hasty loan or purchase which may or not work out

I didn't see the spitting incident so can't comment but those giving Puddy verbal abuse were certainly made aware that it wasn't on. Unfortunately they didn't seem to think they'd done anything wrong.

Agree with your report Steve pretty much exactly as I saw it. Have to say some of the things shouted at Puddy by some of our 'fans' was a disgrace, why anyone would want to travel 4 hours to abuse our own players is beyond me. Although Partington gave the ball away a few times I was encouraged by the fact he looked like he wants to play & to me looked comfortable with the ball at his feet. A keeper & another centre and we'll be fine Really hate to see a player abused in this way, just imagine how it feels, trouble is low IQ and booze do not mix well.

We have 39 points and our home form is very good. No need to panic yet although we do need to stop the rot away. 11 points and safe? Personally I think we will need 54 points to stay up .... 15 more points, sounds easy now but if that's still the case come the start of March might just be much tougher.

No team has needed more than 50 since 2004. 4 more wins in 19 games after we won our last home game 5-0. The away rot will end eventually, people love a panic.

To me there is no panic rather I would like to see us pushing for the Play Offs right to the last game and we can do that with 2 or 3 quality signings and when I say quality I don't mean Non League Players.

Don't be so soddin quick to dismiss 'Non League Players' if our manager thinks they're good enough after careful deliberation then i don't see the problem. They are no more a gamble than so-called 'Experienced' League players.
Hayles, Ellington, Taylor .... there's great value gems to be found out there and normally lads who will give their all to make the best of their opportunity to make a full time career in League Football.

It is a panic though isn't it? It'd be great if we got back into the play-offs but nobody in their right mind was predicting or expecting it at the start of the season. I'd rather DC takes his time getting the right players than do what Trollope did, and destroy the close knit squad that took us up in two or three transfer windows. We're not gonna be in trouble and we're not immediately involved in a promotion fight so for me there's no need for that sort of disruption again. The same people crying for 'quality, Championship players' are the ones who wanted a different scouting approach from the club when we went down and down again signing mercenaries. To dismiss non-league players who have shown the fight to come back to this level in the case of Partington is to dismiss everything DC and this squad have achieved so far.

'so called experienced players' so you disregard Alan Ball,Megson,Gould,Gillies,Walters etc etc and would rather have got in non league players ? some come off but quite a few dont. I dont see why this hatred for buying decent experienced players has started, presumably its something to do with Evolution not revolution ? this in a season when Rovers crowds are up and surely there was money from Chelsea ?

Puddy WAS at fault for the first goal and might as well been sat in the stand for the second. It needs addressing NOW😩

Agree wholeheartedly with your comments re Roos/Puddy. Sadly I think we may be stuck with Puddy and a very dodgy defence in front of him. This could result in a decline in our home form as well and then we certainly will be in trouble. Anyway KTF UTG😀
