First fans forum q&a to be held in july (thread from 2014)

They are obviously frightened to death as to who might turn up. The club is running scared. I can't believe it has come to this

Has anyone spoken to Jon?

I emailed yesterday but have not had a reply.

I am sure they thanked Jon we gave them 7 grand ffs!!

This is yet another very obvious method of making sure the majority ( yes, the majority pay on the day) do not come with their nasty questions. There is talk if holding this as a live stream BUT questions will be put forward BEFORE the actual event. This is our wonderful club eschewing any real and tangible dissent. If any of you have been to the Q&A sessions before then you'll know that the club will often just say " we will not answer that question"
Really, to all of the tinters out there, PLEASE AND FOR GOD SAKE, don't fall for it again. I not am ST but I do support helpline yet I will not be allowed to go to this.
This truly shows how much our leaders think of the majority of us. This will make people feel even more alienated by it's very nature and does nothing to address the very real PR crisis at the club.
In closing I feel we are in for more of the same until the BoD realise A. We ARE in crisis and B. We need open and honest dialogue with the lifeblood of the club. I feel we are being led into even more dangerous waters by an inept and scared board who do not have the simple capacity to admit they got things wrong. Until this happens we are not going to move forward.
We shall see how this transpires when we are into our 5th home match. We shall them see how POTD support is going.
Dear God above, I have NEVER, EVER known a bunch of such deeply paranoid people.
As a footnote, I was told the club had contacted JTS so that he could get contact details but later found it this had not happened but I'll allow JTS to tell you the details as I feel uncomfortable passing this on at this juncture.
The FFS was a fantastic force for positivity yet the club just let us loose. That should be enough to tell you what they think of "us"

I do hope that even if he has packed it in he shows his face sometime around here.

You can be sure that JTS never gives up. He is not wired up that way. I wish I could hold my anger and frustration as well as he does. It's a special kind of man who can be knocked down but not be beaten. You can bet your last penny that he will be back with a plan.
Although I never knew JTS before I used the old forum, I am proud to be associated with him and will do all that I can to support him in whatever way he sees fit, to help the club and to unite our fanbase.
Sigh, how I wish our BoD and SC directors had the humility and tenacity of Jon. His integrity is intact and we can ALL be proud of our efforts with him in the FFS. It's bloody shameful that the club treated him and us like ordure. The thanks and other comments only came after the plethora of questions about the FFS. It's bloody shameful how this was handled

When the club is asked about new stadium progress, the 100 percent reply will be: " Working hard behind the scenes".
