With Taylor gone should DC reconsider his decision on Easter, still think he's got 4 or 5 goals in him.

Just as he asked Puddy to be on the bench regardless a week before he is not going to be considered for selection or the future. Total Twat has no ideal what he is doing or how to handle players.

We have had a shocker by not bringing in replacement before making those statements. I honest cant believe what has happened past couple weeks. I thought we closed the circus.

I do hope that they can rethink the Jermaine Easter situation. I still rated him and thought he was a strong member of our squad. I was quite surprised when DC said what he did.
I would definitely see him as playing a part in the team now MT has gone.

Easter is on his way out to Newport i was told last night Surely he had to sign by last night for that to happen, or does he become a non contract player if we now pay off his contract? I'd pick Easter over James or what I've seen of the two so far this season.

I would definitely see him as playing a part in the team now MT has gone. Maybe DC will not make rash statements when he must of known Taylor was on his way to the other side. It's my belief that although Taylor put the ball in the net what made his scoring so prolific was the team around him that created the chances. Hopefully he will not find the customers at BS3 as forgiving and understanding as those at the Mem,and I think it could be the shortest Championship career in Bristol footballing history. I would suggest he and his agent has had some bad advice. But also Rovers should not allow players to put exit clauses like Taylor's into their contract.Consider this, that maybe the owners at BS3 are not as flush as we are all led to believe. Maybe we have all learnt a lesson from this situation. Ta Ta Mr Taylor it was good for you while it lasted. We have had a lot bigger disappointments than this. We are still here, Move On.

We've got Easter. Jermaine Easter. Just don't think you understand. Clarkey says he's second rate But Taylor's gone to Ashton Gate So we need Jermaine Easter!

DC was right to give Easter a chance to move on but that hasn't happened so it's an opportunity for him to show DC that he got it wrong. From what I've seen of him this season he still can cut it in league 1 UTG

From what I've seen of him this season he still can cut it in league 1 UTG I hope that I am wrong in saying this, but there was talk by Hamer last night that one of the current players was negotiating a cancellation of his contract. That would make them a free agent and enable them to move as a free agent outside of the transfer window.
At the time I immediately thought of McCrystal (following the new defensive signings) - I hope that it isn't Easter.

From what I've seen of him this season he still can cut it in league 1 UTG I would be more than happy to see Easter back in the side in light of yesterday's developments as he is better option than James ( just my opinion of course) However if I was Easter I would say go suck my fat one to DC after the treatment he received! We will see who knows what's going at the moment with just about everything at the club? I'm Still happy though.

Or even that he is unhappy with his 'treatment' Just perhaps he was thankful for DC bringing him here in the first place and being honest enough with him recently to give him the chance to find another club to go and get some game time rather than not saying anything and letting him rot in the development/reserve team.

Easter may still be of use from the bench, but I'd like to see James given game time ahead of him as it all revolves around planning for the future now.

I guess it opens up the opportunity for lots of players. I hope Easter is considered and DC changes his mind over him. It also opens the door for Lucas, James, Harrison and Gaffney to step up to the mark. Either way we move forward as we always do, but sometimes it just takes a bit longer! UTG!
