We've had games on sky in the past and still getting are normal attendance. If tomorrow nights game was on TV would you attend the mem tomorrow or watch it at home? I for one would be at the mem any excuse for a break from the misses and kids

1. Games would abso-fechen-lootlay be streamed back to UK. You could never keep a lid on that.
2. This will sound awful but I work really hard in the week and this Saturday I was so done in I only came down out of obligation and not wanting to miss the game. If I had the option to stream....might have been easier to make the decision to stay.
3. Away matches, ditto. £200 for the family? Or dominos, Stella and the living room? I have no kids but boy can I see that happening.
Not sure about this.

It's a big commitment week in, week out. I can rarely make any midweek games. I'd be really tempted to just get the PPV service and stop attending purely to save time, money and grief. This is a very difficult decision for the Club to make and I'm not really sure it's in their best interest to do it.

I think it's the way football is going, the majority of revenue won't be through match day attendance anymore. Will global income (I'm sure they'll be looking for a big interest in Jordan) be more than any loss of ticket sales. It may even drive down ticket prices in time, TV companies like full grounds with atmosphere.

From a purely selfish point of view I think it's an amazing idea. I travel a lot with work and live in Derbyshire when in the UK. I get to mainly away games like Scunthorpe, Chesterfield, Sheffield Utd etc but would be great to be able to be able to login and watch the Gas live from anywhere in the world. If it wasn't for the Facebook live that people were doing last season I would have missed Browner's right foot and the celebrations and our comeback against Northampton as it happened as I was watching at gone midnight in Malaysia.
I'm in Australia at the moment and will be putting my alarm on to listen to Gas player for 530am. It would be great to be able to get the beers in and watch the games live rather than wait a few hours after the games have finished to see the goals on Sky Sports and then the next day highlights on Gas Player.
I'm sick of going down the pub with friends just to watch games like Watford v Burnley just because they are in the Prem. I remember in a Dubai there was groups of fans like the Dubai Saints that would meet up to watch the Southampton games on TV as all 3pm kick offs were broadcast live there. By having the Rovers games available to stream around the world would give gasheads around the world a reason to meet up and shout at the TV or laptop or whatever over a few beers and create friendships.
I know the owners of clubs are able to log into a live stream to watch the games already. Of course it may cause a drop in numbers at games but to be honest if I was in Bristol I'd get to every game because you can't beat the atmosphere of being there over TV anyway. As far as losing revenue from gate receipts, surely if the club were given a good percentage of the cost of the PPV by the EFL and the amount of Gasheads overseas or ones that can't get to the games as much as they would like were able to pay to watch a live stream, that could be a massive money spinner for the club. I'd happily pay the same as it would cost to see the game at the Mem to watch it live, instead of scrolling down Twitter every few seconds hoping for 'GOOOOOOOOOOALLL' to be tweeted as the commentary is always a few minutes slow.
This is just my opinion of course and probabaly a bit selfish on my part but it's 2017 now and it works pretty well in the USA already. So for now Gas Player it is and a 5.30am alarm. Come on you blues! UTG

So this isn't just to beam back Rovers at home then? It'll cover our away games as well?

Did anyone see that link I put up on Sunday about the Bradford game?
I'm pretty sure that was originally a stream, it had the official EFL logo in bottom right corner.
