Andy Rammell saved us from relegation one year under Ray Graydon and we suffered some awful seasons from which we didn't seem to learn. When we went out of the league it was a culmination of years of complacency and a board who weren't really up to the task. One of my worst ever experiences when Mansfield beat us and we were relegated.Felt like your family had let you down. The debacle of being advised to choose our seat at Cheltenham whilst the Mem was demolished and rebuilt was another numbing situation with no contractors having been approached for the phantom new build. Totally agree. After years of mediocrity, thank goodness for DC. LOL, all the moaning and groaning about managers appointed, players signed etc. "Andy Rammell saved us from relegation one year" Who was Chairman when he was signed? Or do the positives about Higgs not get mentioned? "When we went out of the league it was a culmination of years of complacency and a board who weren't really up to the task" I don't recall many people smashing the door down wanting to buy the club at the time. No doubt if Higgs had pulled out, the same people would be moaning that he had left us in sh!t street.
