Love the fact the sh** are so worried about the mighty Burton now - oh the shame if they finish above them. They enjoyed taking the p**s about Accrington but Karma seems to be on the way

I'm not even bothered about league one to be honest as we're clearly not going anywhere this season.
Come on Wigan And Burton though!
I will be watching Man City vs Monaco. Monaco are potentially a cracking bet at 5/1. They are top of the French league, have a good record against Prem teams and we all seen what PSG did to Barca last week!

Fair enough, we're all different i suppose, i couldn't give a monkeys about Wigan or Burton. I want us to have the best possible opportunity to do well, so any result in our division that may benefit us is the only results i'm interested in. And i certainly haven't given up hope of reaching the play-offs and i can guarantee DC hasn't either.

Also, do we even want it? I'm not sure. It's not even a criticism really just a reality of where we are. The reality is City have a far, far greater chance of coming down than we do of going up.

Blind Faith? Nah that's not for me. Faith? Yes. It's taking the steps even when you don't see the whole staircase. Squad for it? Certainly. But the final table will truly determine that. Do we want it? I would jolly well hope so, i hope we go out to win every game and promotion is the goal for every team at seasons start. And as for Bristol City coming down. If i'm honest, I want them to stay up, if as you say we don't go up, cause i believe they will be stronger than Wigan/Rotherham/Blackburn/Burton next season.

The Ted 82ers are lucky Wigan, Blackburn and Rotherham are even more sh**e than them. Very lucky.

For me it's the European football I have absolutely no interest in.However I have some sympathy with what ggmi is saying as it's far more likely city will go down than we'll go up, although I don't buy into the "it'd be better not to get promoted yet" mentality. But, maybe, in five years time, when city are playing in Europe I'll be interested.

I agree, we don't have a good enough youth setup, training facility, squad or stadium to compete in the Championship, and seeing DC threatened with the sack on the forum every week would not be nice to watch. Let's go for evolution, and go up when we have at least a few of these things sorted.

But going up helps to sort things, it attracts far better players, it generates a big profile which helps advance things off the field, and much bigger revenue. Even if we came straight back down the club would be stronger than after a couple of league one seasons. BUT, you can't choose when you go up, you have to go for it when you get the opportunity.

Bogle's 3rd goal since his January transfer deadline day move, perhaps the 82'ers signed the wrong ex Conference striker!

I do agree with what you say, but so many teams panic when they're promoted to the Championship, and end up ruining what made them strong in the first place. A lot of teams go straight back down, and struggle the following season.
