Can't believe no one has said this but... Hamer said "before August". Today is the last day before August so, is today the day?
(I'm thinking not BTW)

Its a shame that we are in this position.
If the decision is to not go ahead with the UWE, i'd rather the board come out and said that, its the not knowing anything which is the problem.
The same applies with The Colony project, im sure it was said that we applied for planning permission a few months ago now.. for planning permission to go through usually takes circa 6 weeks.. again nothing is known where this is now going.
Think the playing side of things we are a way of having a strong squad. are we going to see any of the 4 needed coming in? I believe we could definitely do with 3, a CB, a winger and a striker.
I think we will be happy to finish mid table right now, i honestly can't see us finishing any better than last year.
But going back to the subject of the thread, the longer the board are quiet i think the harder the pill will be to take if people are in the dark right until the plug is finally pulled.

We did and got planning permission against the OLD planning application. we are now in the process of a NEW set of applications for the new enhanced facilities

Pretty sure it was said a deal needs to be agreed by august.
Which isn't the same as 'if the fans aren't told by the 1st august it's all dead and buried'

I recall the chairman saying they were going to look at other clubs' training grounds, including Fleetwood, to get ideas. Seems like they want to get it right first time, in which case the wait will be worthwhile.

Got to be better than the rubbish they sold on Saturday.... Now if we had Clarks Pie & Pasties..... They've changed as well. Remember back in the day going up to Staple Hill with my Father and buying a few hot pies and eating them on the way back to the car, taking the lid off and getting it all down your front. Loads of meat, loads of gravy. Now they're crap.
