This kid has all the qualities to become a top keeper and will go a long way in the game. Good handling and distribution, an excellent shot stopper and is quick off his line to read a situation. Hoping we can sign him again for next season as he is fast becoming a fans favourite already.

Well in that case I'll let the powers that be know he is rubbish and he can sling his hook!😄 Yeah, JL is the best keeper we've had here for some time. That's actually, not just potentially, although, of course, he hasn't been here that long, yet. How's your new manager getting on there, this time round? (He still divides opinion among the Gas.)

We have two other good keepers , Smithes and Ingram so unless one of these leaves I can't see joe getting much game next year for us, but he is highly rated by the Rangers back room staff.

We totally love Ollie so he is getting a bit of breathing space at the moment which other managers ain't got in the past.

We totally love Ollie so he is getting a bit of breathing space at the moment which other managers ain't got in the past. I think that's still the case with most of us, but as A F says, there are a number of gasheads who would have serious reservations about Ollie coming back here.

Any idea what sort of fee QPR would be looking for or even if a deal could be struck? I wonder if they would even want one. They have got Smithies and Ingram, aged 26 and 23, and they have paid fees for both of them in the last couple of years, I think Lumley is out of contract this Summer, so if they have no intention of using him, they would have to offer him a new contract in the hope of someone paying a fee for him and if nobody was willing to, then they'd have someone on their wage books that they don't want. Unless if he moves in front of one of the other two in the pecking order, I think we may have a decent chance of getting him in the Summer. UTG!

I think if Smithes stays then joe won't play for us in the foreseeable, but as I say reading between the lines I think joe is highly rated by the powers that be so I can see a new contract coming his way. I reckon another loan out next season though.

Spent many Saturdays in the Loft watching the Rs in the 80s (many mates lived in Acton & the Bush). Still have a soft spot for the artificial pitch era and the likes of Hucker, Dawes, Neil, Fereday, Bannister, Stainrod, Micklewhite, Fillery, et all. Went to the Milk Cup final 1986 - sad day that was!

My mates a lifelong rangers fan, last time he went to ashton gate he said the numptys spent more time watching the away fans and shouting abuse than actually watching the game, safe trip and 3pts to qpr and ollie.
