He wouldn't have had the pace to win the ball in the first place like Harrison did! It's not just about the finishing, you need to be able to get in the positions in the first place. There is a reason, no league clubs want him anymore.
I haven't seen Cureton play in a long time I was purely talking about finishing but maybe one of the other chances that were popping up in the box he would put away. Im in the 'sort it out in the summer" camp, nothing to lose bringing someone else in but Taylor has really *ed us over with the timing of his departure.
I see your logic in signing Cureton, we have nothing to lose and at the moment we are struggling up front and it won't cost us much and the gains could be enormous esp after what Taylor did at the last minute. And I agree with Socrates argument about the situation we are in. But I don't think it will happen, DCis looking forward not back, the owners are looking at the future not the past and think it goes against what DC has said. In my 51 years of supporting, our boards have tended to make it up as they go along and different managers would come in and do very different things but for the first time ever I am beginning to see some kind of strategy of small and larger changes and them having a plan and I don't think going back to old players is part of that plan. But I can see the logical arguments that you and Socrates have made and as you say when it comes to finishing there were few better than Cureton. UTG!

So, the bottom line is that this story is just another piece of fake news eh! Damn Trump ! Damn Brexit ! Are you squaring away your German nationality?? Nope. Been here for sixteen years, married to a German. If they want to get rid of me I'll go to the European Court of Human Rights ! They will let in any Tom, Achmed or Mohamed, so the fact that I have a job and I pay a lot of tax....well, even the Herman's won't kick me out as they're not that stupid! Possibly the only thing I may have to do is get a German Driving License. In reality, nothing is going to change.

So, the bottom line is that this story is just another piece of fake news eh! Damn Trump ! Damn Brexit ! Lets give the OP until tomorrow night and then he can come on and explain why an unattached player was unable to sign intime for the game at Oxford. Given Sweeney missed his first Saturday game don't we need to sign a player by 5pm (or midnight) tonight in order for him to play on Saturday? Perhaps DC's waiting to see how bad Harrison's injury is or, worse, was impressed enough by James performance on Tuesday he feels he deserves another chance?

I always thought the signing had to be confirmed before 4pm on a Friday? Then again, I don't expect DC to sign someone on a Friday and put him in the team the very next day. That's not the way DC operates.

Yep.Rule 41.5 www.efl.com/global/section6.aspx41.5 Subject to Regulations 41.6, 41.7 and 55, a Player will only be eligible to play in a match organised by The League if the appropriate forms for his registration or the transfer of his registration (including, for the avoidance of doubt, Temporary Loan Transfers) are received (including by facsimile) and found to be in order by The League by 12.00 noon on the day prior to the date of such match.

A fez add-on is a tassel, I warrant; eh Norbert? *snort* A tassel is no add-on to a Fez. It's an integral part of the overall stimulating effect. In the same way that a woman could toss her long hair and drive a man mad, if you do the same thing with your tassel, it can have the same effect on women. It does require practice though.
