Totally out of our hands, and would rely on Millwall, Oxford and Southend imploding. Not necessarily, if we win six of our last 7 then we wouldn't need those three to implode. 75 points would probably be enough. It's s big ask but I think we can do it. We've managed similar form at the end of our last two seasons so why not again. I don't think we will make the play-offs, I've always thought there were six better teams than us in this league but you are right socrates, we don't need the others to implode. It's about us not the others. We need to take one match at a time, win it and then move on to the next match. Win that and move on to the next match. And so on. Having to win 7 matches on the trot sounds very hard but if you just look at the next match, away to bottom of the table then that's winnable. Then we'll look at the next home match. That's winnable as well. My head says no my heart says why not? Its a big ask but we've done it before so why not. UTG!

It's fantastic that we are still in with a chance however slim, at this stage of the season. The pleasing thing is that the team has improved as the season has progressed, so even if it doesn't happen this year we should be a force next season.

Coventry are gone. we ought to win but our away form has been unconvincing.

Did a quick estimate based on form over the last 10 games and its
Playoffs Fleetwood Bradford Millwall 79 Southend 75 Then it's Oxford 71 Scunthorpe 68 Rovers 68 Rochdale 61.
But on just the last 5 games it's
Fleetwood Bradford Millwall 77 Rovers 71 Then it's Southend 70 Scunthorpe 68 Oxford 66 Rochdale 63

Snakey McSnakeface missed quite a few against D&R - big match nerves def got to him - thank god Browner was ghosting in 👍🏾😄

Our away form will cost us any chance of the playoffs. If we were to beat Coventry and win all of our home matches, we would likely need 3-4 points from our final 3 away league games. Considering we are likely to slip up at home at least once and how bad we are away, no chance. But then this is DC...
If DC isn't on a lot of clubs radar now, he would be after 3 promotions on the trot. Considering the amount of money being thrown about in the Championship, il happily take a promotion charge next year instead.

Personally I think if we can get into the playoffs we can definitely win them, but I don't think we will as to many teams have alot of games in hand on us

Our season is on a knife edge at the minute. Before Oxford I said no chance of the play offs.. After Oxford, I started thinking we have a chance After Bury I thought it was near impossible again.. Unless we could beat Chesterfield (already won) and Coventry then I might just start believing again... If I'm being realistic I don't think it's very likely. However, I feel like we are almost invincible when we have the wind in our sails. It is like anything really, we need to break each game down 1 by 1 and not look at it as winning 6 or 7 out of 7. 7 projects if you like

I know Rochdale have games in hand but I'm not really worrying about the teams below us at the moment, so therefore hope Rochdale beat Millwall. At the moment, all I'm worrying about is us winning and Millwall, Scunthorpe and Southend losing. The Rochdale's and Oxford's are secondary.

So 11 games to go this season and we're sitting pretty in 11th place with 48 points, passing unbeaten through a February in which I predicted we would be mullered regularly. 74 points is the average number of points needed over the last decade to get into the last play-off space in league one. I don't think for a minute we'll do it but let's examine the run-in as I see it: Oxford (A) - Draw - WinSouthend (H) - Draw - WinBury (A) - Win - LoseChesterfield (H) - Win - WinCoventry (A) - Win Shrewsbury (H) - Win Wimbledon (A) - Draw Gillingham (A) - Win Oldham (H) - Win Peterborough (A) - Lose Millwall (H) - Lose Sorry forgot to update. We remain one point ahead of where I thought we'd be, thus heading for a 70 point finish, 4 short of the 74 we're likely to need.

But you've got us losing our last two games, if we turn the P'boro loss into a draw then the Millwall game could become winner takes 6th?

Yup, the challenge for the team is to do better than my most conservative prediction.

Two points behind schedule. Can be rectified with a win at Wimbledon

As Joe Lumley says - "no-ones giving up" in getting into play-offs. I saw Browner in Spar and he said everyone in the team wants another trip to Wembley and Vegas - the flip-flops are tucked away.
