Coventry City v The Gas, Saturday March 25th, KO: 3pm
Official "Gas Invasion Game!
Rumours are circulating that for the Gas's game at Coventry on 25th March, we would be allocated up to 6,000 tickets. If this is the case, this match will be designated as the official Gas Invasion Game. Everyone who goes must wear fancy dress that includes a Gas Shirt from any year, including the PINK shirt. Get as many ballons as you can to make this game a carnival event at the RICOH. The more gasheads we get to this game then the more noise we can make. The support from all gasheads who have gone to away games over the last 3 years had been fantastic. By having 6,000 at the RICOH will tell people from other clubs just what brilliant supporters we are.

Was planning to go anyway as I'm sure many Gasheads would - ground never been too and seems likely they will be in L2 next season but has it really been designated as an 'official' gas invasion game or is this just the excitement of the OS

I think 6000 is very optimistic. I would say 2000-3000 depending on how good our form is going into it. UTG!

Have heard a whisper (via twitter) that there may be a possibility of a postponement due to International call ups, desperately trying to find out more as this is the game myself and a few others are riding to for Charity. Hoping it doesn't get moved as assume a re-arrangement will be mid-week. If anyone is privvy to finding out it would be much appreciated.

shame they've just got a manager who actually is decent. Wonder if they would do a cheaper tkt to encourage more gas to go? Knowing the history of Sisu I suspect they'd be more likely to put prices up not down!

Balloons? Sorry mate I'm going to the footie instead. Are there rules that we have to obey then to get in?

I'll be there with a couple of mates..... Might wear a Rovers top but that's as far as it goes ! Think we'll take 3k whatever and if things going well 4-5k. Every Gashead I know has pencilled in this fixture at the start of the season. Can't remember us every playing there in my yrs following Rovers (40 yrs)

None of our players will play international games that weekend, and Coventry shouldn't have enough call-ups either.

We'll take a couple of thousand I would imagine, so should be a good day out. As for fancy dress and balloons............

I've got balloons left over from our last Wembley trip. Should I take them or save for the possibility of another play off ?

Swindon sold out their allocation of.......2200 And Coventry didn’t offer them any more? Do some clubs just not like money then? Coventry average about a third of the capacity of the Ricoh. Can they afford to not sell more tickets to away fans. I wouldn’t have thought so.

I was there last Saturday for the Peter Kay - Dance for Life gig, which was brilliant [indoor arena attached.]
We stayed in the hotel attached to the ground where you can view the stadium from inside the hotel - very impressive.
We also went there last year for the Bruce Springsteen concert, and decided there and then that we would visit the ground when the Gas play there

You'd think they'd want all the money they can get for their League Two relegation scrap next year
