I can see James Clarke getting a new deal - reliable, can play any defensive position, one of DCs boys and probably cheap as chips! Agreed. Get the feeling he's not one to moan about not being a regular either - probably accepts he's not a first-XI L1 player week in week out. Need guys like that in your squad.

This Saturdays programme is only Β£2,instead of Β£3,so if you have not been buying one,now is your chance. Usually a good read.

Didn't think we'd get one a day. Well pleased with Ollie Clarke. I have to admit I was not a believer in Clarke at the start of the season but couldn't be any more pleased about being wrong, the guy has been fantastic over the last 3 months and to me, I think he can go on to give the championship a go. Let's hope he gets the chance to prove himself with us and not another team.
These two must be two of the easier ones to pin down given their local connections and history with the club. Others might not be as easy so may be a while before we hear more noise from the club.

Billy Boden is an absolute must for me he is a match winner. Great with the ball at his feet, love watching the lad , genuinely belive something might happen when he is on the ball.

Surely it has to be Stuart Sinclair today - he's our very own Man Friday! Yep, even though it's Thursday: Rovers today made it a hat trick of players signing new contracts this week when Stuart Sinclair signed a new deal to extend his stay with the club. Stuart became Rovers fifth summer signing, and the second former Salisbury City player to link up with his former boss, Darrell Clarke, in June 2014. His energetic, box to box, performances quickly made him a firm favourite with Rovers supporters and he has gone from strength to strength since his arrival. Darrell said today; βItβs very pleasing to know that Stuart has decided to extend his stay with us as he is a valuable member of the squad and has made the transition from The Conference to the Football League with consummate ease. βIβve known Stuart for a long time and his infectious enthusiasm for the game and his tremendous work ethic makes him a shining example to the younger players at the club.β Sinclair, enthusiastic as ever, said; βI just wanted to get everything sorted and not have to worry about it. Itβs fantastic news as far as Iβm concerned.β Stuart began his career with Luton Town and on leaving The Hatters he played for Cambridge City, Bedford Town, Dunstable Town and Arlesey Town as well as Salisbury. He made his Rovers debut on the opening day of the 2014/15 season in a 0-0 draw against Grimsby Town and scored his first goal for the club in a 3-2 win at Lincoln on 13th September. His first season with the club ended prematurely when he was injured at Gateshead in February 2015 and, unfortunately, injury caused him to miss the run-in to last seasonβs promotion campaign though he did appear in 34 games in all competitions. He scored his first goal of the current campaign last Saturday, at Oxford, and his Rovers career to date has taken in 87 league games and six goals whilst he has made another 12 appearances in all other competitions. I reckon the three who may still need to convince DC are Gaffers, Montano and Ellis.
We will find out next week.
Tomorrow has to be Bodin.

Good to see the contracts being extended.
On the same sort of thought process as Spurs, they extended Eriksen's, Ali's and Kane's in the previous months.
Keep the key players signed and looking to the future, whereas other clubs were more concerned about signing last minute overpriced deals.
We are thinking ahead and hopefully be able to strengthen the side for a bigger push next season.
Looking forward to Saturday #UTG
