Imagine the scenes if we beat Millwall to get into the play-offs at their expense, better bring my baseball bat I said that to my lot before yesterdays game. Carnage.

Deep down I honestly don't think we will make it but that's not gonna stop me from dreaming about it.
I can see no reason why, playing like we are at the moment that we can't win our next 4 games and then we could be right in amongst it, especially with a lot of the other teams having to play each other in the coming weeks.
One thing is for sure, it's just amazing to have excitement at the end of the season for the 3rd year running, I love it.

Play-Offs would be brilliant, winning them is another story!
Let's not forget we're well on course for our highest league finish for over 10 years

I don't think we will make it, but under DC and the current crop I do not rule anything out.
The only worrying thing is that DC must be on some clubs radars, and I do not want to go back to a Rovers without DC and I can only see DC taking us forward.

What makes it interesting is the remaining games of the teams we are looking to catch:
Bradford have to go to Scunthorpe, Sheff.Utd and Rochdale before the season is out. Chances of catching: Small
Scunthorpe's next 5 games, having taken 3 points from their last 9 games Rochdale (h) Oxford (a) Bradford (h) Millwall (a) Bolton (h) Chances of catching: Good, if we keep up our form
Millwall - away games at Rochdale and Fleetwood, and also have to come to us on the last day of the season. Chances of catching: Possoble, if we keep up our form. Would be enhanced if they could nab a draw with Spurs in the cup today.
If we can dig out a win at Bury on Tuesday things will look a whole lot better again, with Ollie coming back and very winnable games against Chesterfield (h) and Coventry (a) to follow.
Let's be honest, it is still a long shot, but it's great to be in the mix.
What do you reckon to these prices. Worth a flutter?
Promotion: 33/1 (Betfair) Top 6 Finish: 15/2 (Bet365)

I think those run of draws will cost us; we look good now but it took a bit of time after snake left to look threatening up top again.
Its been a good season nonetheless!

You'd have to say all bias aside it will be difficult, but i've thought for a while we would sneak into the playoffs by running the table late.
The over-riding factor here that doesn't show on form tables etc is the endurance and never say die attitude of DC and his squad as proved over the last two seasons run in.
I believe we have the work rate, team spirit and the under-estimated momentum, i also think as a unit we seem to have the 'clutch gene' and i wouldn't rule them out of anything.
The things you can't measure are often the things that give people the most success.

What the gas have achieved this season already is outstanding think the games against Posh and Millwall are going to be our easier games the lower placed teams will be scrapping for survival.

Head says we'll just miss out, there are six better teams than us. Heart says why not, this squad never gives up. We need to take one match at a time and then move on. COYB. UTG! TBH I do not think there are 6 better teams than us. The only teams I thought were are Millwall (but we were down to 10 early on and have only played once) Walsall and Charlton (although I do think DC threw the away game making 6 changes from the team that had won the previous 2) You may be correct, I would love it if you were. I've not seen as many as you and others have so I don't like to say too much. Strange how Charlton tanked us twice but they have really struggled against other teams that we have beaten quite convincingly. I saw Bolton in August, Bradford City, Scunthorpe, FLeetwood and Sheffield U of those at top. I think SU, Bolton, Bradford, Millwall of those at the top will be in top six. Scunthorpe, Fleetwood, though not altogether better than us have played well enough to be a number of points ahead and it's up to us to catch them. In both matches we were better than Scunthorpe and only lost it in last twenty minutes there. We were just better than Fleetwood, coming from behind to win in November. The table rarely lies but I would love you to be right. DC knows what he is doing but like last year I hope he's saying something along the lines of let's concentrate on the next match. When that's won he will say let's concentrate on the next match only and so on. March wins look very possible and the more next matches we win the more possible it becomes! Having to win 9 on the trot almost impossible but winning the next match is always possible. But what do I know? COYB! UTG!

Can't see us catching Millwall but Scunthorpe are currently in freefall. Over three games soon they've got Bradford, Millwall and Bolton. On the down side though, their last three games of the season are against the current bottom three. You don't want to be playing anyone in the bottom 3 in your last 3 games. Look how hard Dagenham were to beat.
