Sounds like a typical Northern shi-t sandwich tonight. Looking at it philosophically it's better to have all this crap over in one match than spread out over several. That was probably one of our hardest away games left as Bury been on a really good run. If we can't beat Gills or Cov then we don't deserve to get close to play offs. Ditto Chesterfield & Shrewsbury at home. Beard out on sat but Ollie back in. Still 8th. And just when it seemed like it really would be a poor night all round Wolves & Blackburn got what they apparently deserved. City are seriously still in danger, not just because of a few late goals but because the 2 closest teams to them are actually playing quite well. I wonder if Rowett or Warburton might come to save them? 🤔 Roy Hodgson angling for a job. He delivered for them last time

I'm not saying my were definitely going to do it I'm saying that saying we're definitely not going to do it is wrong. We don't know , there's still a chance. If we win Saturday and results go for us we're back in it. I see no evidence to suggest that Millwall are suddenly going to lose 3 games out of the blue. Not impossible, obviously, but it's extremely unlikely. It's just as likely that they'll lose the next three as win them. All we can do is keep cheering the boys on and try and win every game. I certainly hope DC and his staff haven't given up like you seem to have. UTG

For me, DCs inability to accept a point at time is his main problem. When down to 10 we should build on our strong back 4 and look to sneak a win. DC goes all guns blazing (Milwall anyone) and it's just not working at this level. Shame. But, his mentality does win us games when 11 a side. Entirely agree as a point and a better goal difference would have been a more realistic outcome.

Not sure why posters think the Play Off push is over because we lost tonight as most of us thought beforehand a draw would be a reasonable result, so effectively we've dropped one point by losing, plus we weren't going to win all our remaining games anyway. Scunthorpe have some tough away games coming up and Millwall have 7 away out of their 11 remaining games.
Anyway if the 82er's are going down it'll be more fun beating them twice next season than struggling at the bottom of the Championship!!

No it's not. Ffs what are you like? I'm a realist. Millwall 3 games in hand. Rochdale with 3 games in hand. Oxford with 2 and Southend with 1. Even if Scunthorpe continue to falter, it's likely that one of those other sides will take their place. We'd probably have to win every game bar 1. You said our season was over. It's not. If you are talking about our season meaning getting into a certain position, then I don't know your target? We won't win the league.

Milwall home to Bury this Saturday, bet they wish this ref was in charge again! Scunny away to Oxford, hope Oxford turn up for this home game
City at home to Huddersfield, who have only lost to Newcastle in their last 19 league games. Blackburn & Forest both in derby's so hopefully good chances of drawing (home matches against Preston and Derby )

Let's just hope Millwall have that traditional late season collapse after a smaller club gets knocked out of the FA Cup after a long run.

If we win on Saturday and Millwall lose to Bury we'll be just 1 point behind them, then they have 3 consecutive tough looking away games, how can you say the season's over? We now need to bounce back with 2 consecutive wins.

One result tonight to put all other results into perspective. Congratulations AFC Wimbledon. No club should ever be stolen from the fans, and to come back from scratch and eventually turn them over is a magnificent achievement. Really pleased for them and everyone who's followed them from the start.
