Watched the highlights of Sutton v FGR, second goal, it was the usual, came rushing out of the penalty area, miss kicked, FGR forward put the ball in the wide open goal.

I love dc but why are we left so light weight up top. What if a Jermaine Easter type player was available to fill the gaps.? Id take J.e now for remainder of season. Can't argue with what the man does.... I wanted to add more but.... Simply can't argue....

Wages that can be better spent next season Surely be worth every penny rather than have the possibility of not being able to put a striker on the bench. He could have been the difference. It's a bit of a stupid clause to have if it means you don't end up playing them but still paying them. Similar with milds back along. The goal keeping situation (which is sorted for now) and Easter are my only gripes this season so mustn't grumble.

IMO Jamie has not been given a fair crack at BRFC, with gaffney and James probably the least effective forward partnership in the whole of the UK, why not give Jamie a chance ?

Yes, I thought Lucas would get a chance but I guess he did not have a great time at Borehamwood and I think he's now 23 so not that young anymore. Perhaps DC does not see him as part of his plans or is just giving him a final chance to show what he can do at Woking. Must admit after that loan at Weston a few years back I thought we had a real prospect but he does seems to have struggled in the national league (conference) and one or two on here have questioned fitness.

He is only 21. Still, even Woking seem underwhelmed at the signing.

If he's deemed not good enough for a place in the match day squad now,he never will be.Gone for all money.

He obviously showed ability in the youth team but as we know from DC's recent interviews he rates attitude, and fitness above ability so we can hazard a guess that JL isn't quite fulfilling DC's expectations in those departments. However, just because he's going out on loan doesn't necessarily mean it's the end of the road; it wasn't for Harrison when he went on loan to Hartlepool, although nobody mentions Gosling any more.

Lets face it he (Lucas) was mainly a bench warmer at Boreham Wood. Nowhere near ready for league one yet. As for Easter I would be happy to have him as a squad member next year.

Interesting to note from DC's interview that it was Lucas who wanted to go out on loan to get game time so fair play to the lad. The more experience he gets at this stage the better. Really needs to bag a few goals at Woking if he's to progress.
