This has been an amazing three years to support Rovers. But the best? You may be right trojandog but I would still say 1970-75 would be the best in my memory. Great football, at a good standard, several good cup runs at a time when you got good publicity for them, a promotion after near misses leading to championship football would be my favourite time. Mind you it has been a time of sheer relief, relief that we've got our Rovers back with good people throughout the club. Well done to everyone involved in making it happen. I guess it depends on your age as to the best times, wouldn't have minded being around in the 50s to have seen the two cup runs and the near miss at Division 1 football! UTG!

Just realised that the play-off final is on my birthday. Now that would make one hell of a present!

Some great posts on this subject, remember being stunned at final whistle against mansfield, walking back to the car like a zombie, driving home with tears in my eyes, sitting on my drive not believing it had happened. But lady luck finally payed rovers a visit and the last few years have been pretty much happy days. Massive thanks to dc and our new owners, i love the buzz about the club now and the postive vibe on the terrace like 1990 and 2007, looking back it was a good thing but we must never get in that postion again as next time lady luck may not come calling!! onwards and upwards.
