Did any gasheads recognise Dan Jones Chesterfield's left back, who played for us on loan under Trollope? I always thought he was quite handy. On Saturday he did not look so good, looked quick but with no end product.

He did, chose Sheffield Wed rather than us - no real surprise, had a decent career but looked average in a poor side Saturday! UTG

Didn't he get sacked by Port Vale for punching a team mate?

Did look good for us. Didn't he replace Gary Sawyer and replaced by Jim 'Pogo' Patterson?

His crossing was absolutely useless, I thought Leadbitter's crossing was bad! We had a good view of him first half, one cross straight at the first man, three crosses majorly over hit, and he had a lot of time and space.

Massively overrated when he was with us.

Massively overrated when he was with us. Who by the Wednesday boss? "Jones signed a three-year deal with League One side Sheffield Wednesday in June 2010"

Both him and Heffernan were here on loan and both looked useful. Would have been season 2009/10. They chose to go to Sheffield Weds and Trolls never really replaced either and we went down in 2011. Mind you without checking I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure they weren't with us when we went down. UTG!

Always thought he was quite good for us. Looked sh**e on Saturday though.
Remember last game of the season away at Leeds, he was the one who said 'something' to Gradel that made him go nuts and got him sent off. Beckford had to drag him off the pitch as he was trying to fight anyone and everyone. We still couldn't spoil their promotion party against ten men! Think Duffy scored?

Never knew that. His career seems to have gone downhill. He was a bit feisty with us (e.g. That Leeds game)

We had a good view of him first half, one cross straight at the first man, three crosses majorly over hit, and he had a lot of time and space. leads does struggle with crossing but because of his pace & style of play he often gets quite a few opportunities (more than another player maybe...) meaning a few will be great crosses. Our crossing in general is poor. Monty is very erratic (better with the ball at his feet). Brown is best consistent crosser, hence a high assist rate.
