It's just the little things that drive me wild, Alice Cooper.

The best and most effective moderation is Self Moderation. Good advice - hope Bluebutterfly takes it... the repeated wind-ups do jar a little but I guess people biting is the fuel of his misguided endeavors. A true prophet of doom in our midst without a doubt...

The point being, why don't we sell out the Mem every week could be worthwhile discussing.

Stating the obvious if we had been genuine play off candidates and scored just one extra goal in any three of those six drawn matches since Mr Blobby left we would now be attracting probably 10k+ at home games. Even a £100/£200k outlay at the time on a striker would have been virtually paid for by bigger crowds - but for some reason we didn't. Mr Hamer did say at the time that he felt we didn't need anyone else as the unmentionable hadn't scored anyway for a few weeks prior. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come from the board - there does seem to be a reluctance to spend money on the team. DC has publicly stated he had a bottom 8 budget to spend - maybe it all went on Partington & Burn

I have this idea that the Board don't really want us in the Championship until we can start there in the new stadium, and attract bigger crowds and actually compete by releasing decent money for new players. Or at least that's what I think they originally thought, not expecting negotiations with UWE to take as long as they have.
Now it looks like it will be at least 2018/19, and perhaps much longer, until the stadium is built, perhaps they will have to revise that view and inject some cash into the playing side of things next season. DC will be wanting to push on and surely won't accept treading water for two or more years.

The worry is the longer the stadium saga drags on with no decision the more vulnerable the club is to losing DC if he's not able to compete with some of the clubs at the higher end of the table on a playing budget. It has to be as much frustrating for him as it is to some of the fans.

The toilets are a disgrace for my young daughters to use. The kids ST was a pain to renew. Away fans don't travel as well as they could because you get soaked on the terrace. The general experience is bad when it's busy....takes an age to get a pint, coffee, pasty and park the car. There aren't enough seats.

It's exactly the reason my mrs won't attend home games, she's not a massive football fan but if facilities, seats, drinks , parking etc were better she would go to more games and I'm guessing it's like that for a lot of other people who are on the fence about attending a rovers game, new stadium , better facilities , better organised match day experience = more people.

It was the OP who doesn't seem to understand why we are not sold out every week, not me.

The thing is myself or anyone else should be able to be critical of the manager, the team or the board on here without abuse or the old your a "shi*head" stuff. The forum should be open to all opinions and of course people sometimes strongly disagree but i find lots of posters on here are sycophantic yes men to dc and wael,at least for the moment. All the things ive been accused of being a wum for are legitimate points of view. Points 1-5 on my thread are all open to debate in my view.

It's not so much a case of what you say but how you say it. A heathy scepticism is good in general but I wouldn't describe others as sycophants (watch out for that tortology😉) more a case of appreciating what we have given our recent history of managers and owners. i've seen this season as a bonus year and the hard work and exoectations will come next season. This summer will be a litmus test in terms of stadium and signings. Your points are legitimate in my view and can be debated, provided it is reciprocated. Sadly there can be a knee jerk reaction to some poster' styles so maybe we all ought to draw a line and move on afresh.

Some might say it's about supporting your team, I'm not going to knock DC and Wael when I can safely leave that to you. It's not been a bad season despite your endless WUMing.

You seem to sneak on here like a night crawler light the fuse and then disappear nothing but a pathetic WUM attention seeker. You may well have some valid points but the manner in which you have been posting is too confrontational and you wonder why people call you a Ted? Another one of your threads was :City fan wanted to kill me; What was it, a lovers tiff?

The last thing you (the OP) can accuse me of is being a sycophant, a realist or someone who has supported this club from near & far. As people have said your confrontational style of posting and unwillingness to admit to it, have led to others having a pop or taking the mickey (narrow line on some of it). Right fetch the rope we'em going to be having a lynching this week.
