Just a note for season ticket holders intending to renew, the club are not sending out in the post a renewal form as they have done in previous years. Caught me a bit by surprise as I normally renew when this arrives. Just did not want others to be caught out by this UTG

Cost I would imagine with the number of ST we sold last year. The girls in the shop seemed quite surprised when I questioned it. Think this should be communicated by the club at least as I am sure others have got used to receiving this annually.

Would make sense to at least send an email. Agreed.
I would have expected the usual renewal letter or notification that these are no longer being issued.
Then again, although the club has my email address I never receive any communication from the club, not even the weekly update. This is an area that needs addressing. We have spent money on a lot of departments recently but the IT department appears to have missed out.

I got an email on the 20th March with a link to the website. They had set up an account already online. Just needed to enter post code and email address and then give it a password. I renewed straight away as it was too easy.....

I renewed straight away as it was too easy..... Did the same but the email just seemed like a generic email rather than a renewal notification. Having worked on the data side of customer marketing before it looks like the club could be doing a lot more on this front from maintaining the lists in the first place, to the actual content, look and engagement side of the emails as well. The EFL seem to send out a branded email on our behalf with the content taken direct from the website which seems to clash with the one direct from the club. Could be one is from the merchandising database and the other from the club website (and thus EFL) database.

Let's look on the positive side, at least we can applaud the club for saving the rain forest's..............or in our case a small Larch.

I got really good email with log in details to renew, only issue was its just for me, not my son and his mate as I assume they don't link accounts which is a bit annoying. Always used to get letter per ticket. So will buy in person I expect

Agree with this. The club have both my email address, and home address, unless I actually buy something I don't hear a peep from them. Back in the day I used to get a pamphlet twice a season, but unless its tickets coming through the door, not a peep these days. An email costs nothing, not sure what a second class stamp costs nowadays, but its got to be worth it surely?
