I listened to the RB commentary last night. The Ted meltdown at the final whistle was hilarious. Then to cap it all Mr Snout came on to give his assessment. They were the better side in the first half! He then went on to criticise individual players, a cardinal sin as no manager should ever do that. Then he said he went into the dressing room and threw the Riot Act at them. I hope it hit the Snake in the face!
I always thought you "read" the Riot Act, but no matter. I'll bet the players were sh1tting themselves while he squeaked furiously at them!
I was disappointed and upset when the Rosy Cheeked lady garden sacked Clitterell. I shouldn't have worried though, it turns out he had someone even better lined up to take his place. The squeaking midget has surpassed all expectations and his pseudo-intellectual interviews are more entertaining than Clitterells ignorant, arrogant rantings.
Bristol City (1982) ltd the gift that keeps on giving!

There are such a stupid club, millions and millions frittered away by Dolman and Landsdown over the years and still the stupid fans believe what they are told. Last night people were ringing up suggesting they get Pardew or Redknapp these people are in cloud cuckoo land or is it cloud robin land? Easter Monday v Blackburn away it will be so funny to see them bombed out by a team in blue and white called Rovers. They never cease to amuse us. Fair play to the ones that travelled last night though. Great supporters, too good for the club. I hope Matty Failure enjoys his money as there isnt much else there to enjoy.

I never liked Little Lee or his Dad for that matter and have seen them both as rather too political in their management styles with an shared ability to alienate players. The only way the sh*t are going to stay up is if Blackburn's form is even worse. Interesting to see them questioning the wisdom of the Bristol Sports project, the alienation this has caused and sh*tty fans seeing the whole enterprise as brand development rather than the proper development and running of a football club. Landsdown has deep pockets but I do wonder if he will fork out another £15 or £20 million next season to give Little Lee a new squad to upset. It's unbelievable how they have managed to spend so much money for such little success and long may it continue. It good to see so many sh*tty fans at last recognizing the true nature of their club and the egotistical nonsense of this entire Bristol Sport project and the brand monopoly Landsdown so much wanted to develop in Bristol. He has failed in his desire to destroy our club but just might succeed in destroying his own.

The Taylor situation has maybe given an insight into Landsdown in that he cannot create so he takes others success away so that they cannot achieve either. Isnt this what the supermarkets do when they buy land just to stop the opposition from buying it? I think Wael has sussed him out and now we know perhaps what we are dealing with. In the end the creators always beat the thieves, because the thieves have bad ideas.

I don't think that Harry Dolman deserves to be mentioned in the same sentence as Lansdown. He's a bit before my time, but I always got the impression he was one of the old school "gentleman" type Chairman, and his investment eventually got them to the promised land, and funded what was at the time a state of the art stand. Lansdown comes across as a spiv with billions to splash around on his toy - regardless of the fact that he's taken it away from the true fans.

Can't stand them but you are right Tilly. Dolman provided loads of cash for them but nothing like Lansdown. And he was patient, giving Dicks lots of time and many false starts before making div 1. I bet he's turning in his grave to see the mess Pantsdown presides over. What a shame! Bless. UTG!

I take your point Tilly about character differences, but Harry Dolman didnt achieve much success compared to his wealth and the money he invested in the club. They were in the second and third divisions, just like us when he was Chairman and we didnt have a rich benefactor at all. He wasnt the Chairman when they went to the first division, but he was President and as we all know that led to bankruptcy in 1982. I think Wael is massively superior to Landsdown and the future cant come quick enough. We are at last going to be on an equal playing field for the first time.

Problem is I can see them staying up. Brentford and Preston away are two fixtures any team in that division would do well to get points from.
Look at their remaining fixtures and it's littered with sides with absolutely naff all to play for. Qpr, Wolves, Birmingham, Barnsley all on their holidays I imaging already. 4 home matches too.
Even if they lose to Blackburn I still think they'll be OK unfortunately.
